Getting to Gillette Stadium

New England Patriots · Foxborough, MA

Every published route to Gillette Stadium ends on Route 1, three or four miles out from either I-95 Exit 19 or I-495 Exit 36A — the stadium sits between the two interstates rather than beside either. Rail is event-only: the MBTA and Keolis run special service to Foxboro Station rather than a scheduled stop.

Tips & Fan Reports

Boston Common Coach runs a bus from downtown Boston to Gillette. $80 a ticket but the bus gets you there 3 hours early with seating and coolers for tailgating (BYOB) and gets you back downtown.

The stadium publishes a walking route map between Foxboro Station and the gates but names no distance.
Rideshare
Uber and Lyft have a designated pickup/dropoff zone in Lot 15, adjacent to Bass Pro Shops near the CVS Health Gate. Must use the app to request rides. Expect surge pricing before and after games. From downtown Boston, a one-way ride is typically $50-80 during surge.

Transit

MBTA: "Round trip event train tickets ... are $20", sold only through the mTicket app, from South Station and Back Bay. The figure is right and the unit was not: it was stored as a one-way fare, so the name now says round trip. Driving entries carry no transit fare by definition
