Getting to MetLife Stadium

MetLife Stadium has a rail station at its front door, but it only opens when the crowd is big enough: NJ TRANSIT runs the Meadowlands line for events expecting more than 50,000. When it runs, most of the regional network connects at Secaucus Junction and the ride in takes about ten minutes. When it does not, the Coach USA 351 from Port Authority is the published alternative.

There is an Uber drop off at the mall parking lot. You can take a foot bridge directly to the stadium from there and it is much easier than the MetLife lots or the awful train shuttle to Secaucus.
Secaucus Junction is the connection point for most of the regional network, about 10 minutes out.
The Meadowlands rail line only runs for events expecting over 50,000 — check before relying on it.
The Coach USA 351 from Port Authority starts 2.5 hours before kickoff and runs about an hour after.
The 351 drops at Lot K, by the Quest Diagnostics Performance Center and the MetLife Gate — not at the main entrance.
Trains keep running a couple of hours after the event, so a slow exit is covered.

- NJ TRANSIT's Meadowlands Rail Service runs for events with anticipated attendance above 50,000, delivering passengers to the Sports Complex station at the stadium's front door. Most of the regional rail network connects at Secaucus Junction, from which the ride is about 10 minutes; trains start a few hours before kickoff and run for a couple of hours after. Coach USA's 351 Meadowlands Express runs from the Port Authority, starting two and a half hours before the game and continuing about an hour after, dropping at Lot K near the Quest Diagnostics Performance Center by the MetLife Gate. NJ TRANSIT also runs occasional buses between Secaucus Junction and the stadium.
- Rideshare
- Uber and Lyft serve MetLife Stadium with a designated pickup/dropoff zone. From Midtown Manhattan, expect $40-60 one-way with game-day surge. From Hoboken or Jersey City, $20-35. Post-game, walk to the designated rideshare area. It's organized but expect a 20-30 minute wait.
