Mercedes-Benz Stadium lists more than 20,000 parking spaces within a 20-minute walk and recommends buying passes before an event. Parking can be arranged through the Falcons or stadium app and the official parking website. Tailgating is offered in The Home Depot Backyard for event-day ticket holders and in designated parts of the stadium parking lots.

What fans who park here actually do, and what it cost them.
Do NOT park near the stadium. Take MARTA - park at a rail station and ride in. They run every 20 minutes or less on game days. Vine City and CNN Center stations are closest.
The Gulch (Lot A) is the most popular parking and tailgate spot. If you are a tourist, the College Football Hall of Fame, Georgia Aquarium, and World of Coke are all close to the stadium.
Parking is available in the GWCC Red and Silver Decks, subject to availability and other GWCC events.

MARTA's SEC District Station, formerly GWCC/CNN Center, is the stadium's preferred arrival option at $2.50 each way.
The MARTA Rapid A-Line BRT is the fallback; get off at South Downtown.
SEC District Station is at the doorstep and costs $2.50 each way, the stadium's own recommendation.
No driving route is published at all: the stadium points at Waze.
Both rideshare zones are roughly a 10-minute walk, so transit lands you closer than a car does.

Parking Rules

Your Pass
- Lots open 4.5 hours before an event and close two hours after it ends.
- Tailgating concludes no later than midnight for evening events.
- There are more than 20,000 parking spaces within a 20-minute walk of the stadium.
- Parking often sells out before an event, so passes are best bought in advance.
Not Allowed In
- Oversized vehicles are not allowed in The Home Depot Backyard: RVs, buses, trailers and similar vehicles.
- Non-licensed motorised vehicles are prohibited, including golf carts, Segways, skateboards, bicycles, scooters and hoverboards.
Getting There
Mercedes-Benz Stadium has a MARTA station at its doorstep (SEC District, formerly GWCC/CNN Center) and publishes the fare, which few venues do: $2.50 each way. Driving gets no route at all, only a recommendation to use Waze and a set of parking maps.
- Driving
- The stadium publishes no interstate route or exit, pointing drivers to Waze for turn-by-turn directions and to its own lot information and maps for parking.
- Public Transit
- MARTA's SEC District Station, formerly GWCC/CNN Center, is right at the stadium's doorstep and is the stadium's preferred option, at $2.50 each way. The MARTA Rapid A-Line BRT is the alternative, exiting at South Downtown for a short walk in.
- Rideshare
- Mercedes-Benz Stadium has two rideshare zones. Zone 1 is at GWCC Bus Lane C on Northside Drive, in front of Georgia World Congress Center Building C, and is reached from Gate 1 by following the wayfinding signs across The Home Depot Backyard bridge. Zone 2 is on Broad Street between Trinity and Mitchell and suits guests leaving by Gates 2 to 4.
- Walking
- The rideshare zones are both about a 10-minute walk from the stadium: Zone 1 at GWCC Bus Lane C, and Zone 2 at South Downtown.
