Getting to Barclays Center

Barclays Center is the best-connected venue in this data by some distance: three subway stations serve it, between them carrying nine lettered and numbered lines, and the Long Island Rail Road terminal is in the same building complex. Come up the escalators on Atlantic Ave and see Barclays right in front of you. It honestly adds to the experience vs coming from the other direction. North Pole bar across the street is the pregame spot for Nets fans.
The C stops at Lafayette Avenue and the G at Fulton Street, both a short walk away, if your line does not reach Atlantic.
Atlantic Terminal-Barclays Center puts you at the door and carries six lines: 2, 3, 4, 5, R and Z.
Driving from Queens or Long Island it is Exit 29 off the BQE; from Staten Island or south Brooklyn it is Exit 27.
LIRR runs as late as 2 AM for events, and Atlantic Terminal is 20 minutes from Jamaica.

- From Manhattan over the Manhattan or Brooklyn Bridge, take Flatbush Avenue or Adams Street/Boerum Place and follow signs to the Flatbush Avenue or Atlantic Avenue entrance. From Queens or Long Island, take the I-278 Brooklyn-Queens Expressway west to Exit 29 and merge onto Flatbush Avenue. From Staten Island or south Brooklyn, take I-278 east to Exit 27 for Atlantic Avenue.

- Three subway stations serve the arena. Atlantic Terminal-Barclays Center, at Atlantic and Flatbush Avenues, carries the 2, 3, 4, 5, R and Z. Lafayette Avenue station, at Fulton and South Portland, carries the C. Fulton Street station, at Fulton and Fort Greene Place, carries the G. On the Long Island Rail Road, Barclays Center/Atlantic Terminal is 20 minutes from Jamaica Station, with service running to as late as 2 AM for events.

- Uber/Lyft drop-off is on Atlantic Avenue near the main entrance. Post-game pickup can be slow due to Flatbush Avenue congestion. Walk a block or two toward Fort Greene for faster pickup.

MTA subway and local bus: "The fare is $3 for most riders", weekly cap $35. Commuter rail inside the city is the CityTicket, and MTA states it plainly: "For travel on one railroad within New York City without changing directions, a one-way CityTicket costs $5.25 for off-peak trains and $7.25 for peak trains." Games are evenings and weekends, so off-peak $5.25 is the game-day fare. Atlantic Terminal is in Brooklyn, so the LIRR leg is a CityTicket trip
