Barclays Center provides no public onsite parking. The arena names SpotHero as its partner for advance booking at nearby garages and warns that neighborhood parking is limited. Atlantic Terminal provides LIRR service beside the arena, and three nearby subway stations serve it.
Road Closures on Game Day
- For charter-bus pickup, eastbound Atlantic Avenue on the arena side between Fort Greene Place and 6th Avenue remains closed until about 30 minutes after the event ends.

Come up the escalators on Atlantic Ave and see Barclays right in front of you. It honestly adds to the experience vs coming from the other direction. North Pole bar across the street is the pregame spot for Nets fans.

LIRR reaches Atlantic Terminal from Jamaica in 20 minutes, with event service running as late as 2 AM.
The C stops at Lafayette Avenue and the G at Fulton Street, both a short walk away, if your line does not reach Atlantic.
Atlantic Terminal-Barclays Center puts you at the door and carries six lines: 2, 3, 4, 5, R and Z.
Driving from Queens or Long Island it is Exit 29 off the BQE; from Staten Island or south Brooklyn it is Exit 27.
LIRR runs as late as 2 AM for events, and Atlantic Terminal is 20 minutes from Jamaica.

Your Pass
- Barclays Center does not provide on-site public or employee parking.
- The venue directs drivers to SpotHero for nearby garages and warns that parking around the arena is very limited.
Accessible Parking
There is no on-site public parking; the venue instead identifies an adjacent Access-A-Ride stop for paratransit users.
- The Access-A-Ride stop is on the south side of Atlantic Avenue between Fort Greene Place and 6th Avenue.
- The stop is adjacent to the arena and nearest the Atlantic Entrance.
Bus & Limo Parking
Charter buses may unload at the arena but must leave the neighborhood to stage before returning near the end of the event.

- Buses may return for pickup 30 minutes before the event ends.
- The arena-side eastbound section of Atlantic Avenue between Fort Greene Place and 6th Avenue does not reopen for pickup until about 30 minutes after the event.
Getting There
Barclays Center is the best-connected venue in this data by some distance: three subway stations serve it, between them carrying nine lettered and numbered lines, and the Long Island Rail Road terminal is in the same building complex. Driving is documented too, but the arena's own page leads with the trains, and the late-night LIRR service to 2 AM tells you which arrival it expects.
- Driving
- From Manhattan over the Manhattan or Brooklyn Bridge, take Flatbush Avenue or Adams Street/Boerum Place and follow signs to the Flatbush Avenue or Atlantic Avenue entrance. From Queens or Long Island, take the I-278 Brooklyn-Queens Expressway west to Exit 29 and merge onto Flatbush Avenue. From Staten Island or south Brooklyn, take I-278 east to Exit 27 for Atlantic Avenue.
- Public Transit
- Three subway stations serve the arena. Atlantic Terminal-Barclays Center, at Atlantic and Flatbush Avenues, carries the 2, 3, 4, 5, R and Z. Lafayette Avenue station, at Fulton and South Portland, carries the C. Fulton Street station, at Fulton and Fort Greene Place, carries the G. On the Long Island Rail Road, Barclays Center/Atlantic Terminal is 20 minutes from Jamaica Station, with service running to as late as 2 AM for events.

MTA subway and local bus: "The fare is $3 for most riders", weekly cap $35. Commuter rail inside the city is the CityTicket, and MTA states it plainly: "For travel on one railroad within New York City without changing directions, a one-way CityTicket costs $5.25 for off-peak trains and $7.25 for peak trains." Games are evenings and weekends, so off-peak $5.25 is the game-day fare. Atlantic Terminal is in Brooklyn, so the LIRR leg is a CityTicket trip
