What to Expect
Barclays Center sits at the intersection of Atlantic Avenue, Flatbush Avenue, and several Brooklyn neighborhoods, Fort Greene, Prospect Heights, Park Slope, and Boerum Hill. It's a transit hub with one of the best-connected subway stations in New York. The pregame scene revolves around the bars and restaurants lining the surrounding streets. No tailgating here. This is urban Brooklyn. Plan to arrive 60-90 minutes early. Games run about 2.5 hours, and the post-game dining and bar scene keeps going late.

Game Day
Security lets you go down to lower bowl before players go back to the locker room, which is about 45 minutes before start. Away team tunnel is middle of section 16. Nets tunnel is between sections 3 and 4.
10 by 6 by 2 inches is the ceiling and backpacks are refused outright. Travel light or leave it behind.
Three drop-off zones exist: two on Atlantic Avenue and one on Flatbush by the Main Entrance.
Parking & Directions
Come up the escalators on Atlantic Ave and see Barclays right in front of you. It honestly adds to the experience vs coming from the other direction. North Pole bar across the street is the pregame spot for Nets fans.

LIRR reaches Atlantic Terminal from Jamaica in 20 minutes, with event service running as late as 2 AM.
Food & Drinks
Try the Nacho Macho Taco inside - the sweet plantains with cinnamon sauce are incredible. 5ive Spice Tacos and Banh Mi on 5th Ave is a great pregame spot right near the arena.
Brooklyn Lager on tap is the local move. It's brewed just a few miles away.
The DeKalb Market Hall inside the arena complex has diverse vendor stalls for quick bites.
Seating
Gallagher Terrace holds 110 people in banquette seating, with sommeliers and a premium wine list.
The Modelo Bridge is a two-level, 6,800 square-foot space on the west end of the UPPER concourse and it is open to all guests: the cheapest ticket reaches it.
Gallagher Terrace is the only place in Barclays Center where you can eat in your seat and still see the game. Every other premium room means getting up.
Know Before You Go
- Bag policy
Hard-sided bags and bags larger than 10 x 6 x 2 inches are prohibited at Barclays Center.
Medical needs and guests caring for infants receive special consideration. All bags are screened and may be X-rayed.
- Gate opening
Barclays Center doors open 90 minutes before the scheduled start of Nets games.
Guests dining in Crown Club may enter two hours before tipoff.
- Venue payments
Barclays Center has cash-free concession locations and accepts major credit cards and mobile wallets.
Guests with cash can convert it free to a prepaid debit card at a Ready Credit cash-to-card kiosk; the card works at arena concession and retail points, and remaining funds can be used wherever the card network is accepted.
- Re-entry
Barclays Center has a no re-entry policy for Nets games.
