The A, C and E put you underneath the building, so driving into Midtown on a game night is the harder option.

Check the event page before you travel. A strict no-bag policy applies to some events including Knicks games, over and above the usual size limit.

Even if the Knicks are bad the Garden is always a cool place to go. Pregame a little bit since drinks inside are insane but the atmosphere makes up for it. Take the subway - do not drive to MSG.

Book nearby parking ahead; the garages closest to the arena fill first on event nights.

From New Jersey, NJ Transit runs into Penn Station beneath the Garden.

Not every food booth at MSG has the same stuff. Check the full food and drink list on the MSG website before you go so you can plan what you want and not waste time wandering around. There is nothing like a Knicks game at the Garden.

MSG food is the most expensive in the NBA. Eat before you enter if budget is a concern.

Koreatown (32nd Street) is one block away and has better food at half the price.

If you have the cash look for 100 section on the corners of the court. It is sloped so even if people stand you can still get great views. SeatGeek usually has the best prices for MSG.

MSG's own chart lists Floor, 100s, 200s, Suites, 300s, 400s, the Hyundai Bridge and the Lounges. A listing naming anything else is a resale category, not a Garden level.

The bridges are called the Hyundai Bridge now. Older listings say Chase Bridge and mean the same seats.
