Know Before You Go
- Bag policy
Bags and purses must not exceed 10 x 6 x 2 inches and are searched at entry.
Medical and infant bags are permitted but must pass through X-ray screening at Gate 3. The venue recommends arriving without a bag for faster entry.
- Bag storage
Binbox lockers for oversized bags start at $10 and are on the South Plaza above the Gate 7 steps and beside the Box Office near Gates 4 and 5.
Lockers are available from one hour before doors until one hour after the event. The arena itself does not check prohibited items.
- Gate opening
Kaseya Center doors generally open one hour before the printed game time.
Door times may vary, so check the event listing before travel.
- Mobile tickets
All Heat home games use mobile-only entry through the Miami Heat app, Ticketmaster app, Ticketmaster.com, or a phone's digital wallet.
Screenshots are not accepted because the secure barcode moves. Add the ticket to Apple Wallet or Google Wallet before arrival for faster entry.
- Re-entry
Kaseya Center does not allow guests to leave and re-enter the same game.
- Prohibited items
Prohibited items include oversized bags, flags, banners, signs, bottles, cans, coolers, recording devices, fireworks, illegal substances, lasers, outside food or drink, noisemakers, weapons, computers, laptops, drones, selfie sticks, and oversized tablets.
For Heat games, cameras may have a fixed or detachable lens no longer than 6 inches, with only one detachable lens. Management may add event-specific restrictions without notice.
- First aid
The First Aid station is at Section 110 and is staffed by City of Miami Fire-Rescue during events.
- Nursing and lactation
The private Nursing Room is inside the Quiet Space; visit Guest Experience at Section 103 for an escort to the room.

- Family restrooms
Family restrooms are at Sections 102, 115, 306, 322, 408, and 412.
Baby-changing tables are installed in every men's, women's, and family restroom.
- Tickets for children
Children younger than 2 may enter free if they remain on a parent or guardian's lap; every guest age 2 or older needs a ticket.
The venue recommends bringing a birth certificate or passport as proof of age for a child younger than 2.
- Guest services
Heat-game Guest Experience booths are at Sections 103, 306, 322, 400 East, and 400 West, though availability can vary by game.

- Service animals
Service animals are the only animals permitted inside Kaseya Center.
Call Guest Experience at 786-777-1237 before the game with questions; the public policy does not list a relief area.
- Smoking and vaping
Smoking and vaping are prohibited inside Kaseya Center and on surrounding balconies and plazas, including East Plaza.

What the day looks like at Kaseya Center, hour by hour.
Arrive at the waterfront
Park at the arena garage or take the Metromover. Explore Bayside Marketplace and the waterfront restaurants along Biscayne Bay.
Pregame dining
Grab dinner at Bayside's restaurants, or walk to Brickell for upscale dining. Cuban food is the pregame move in Miami.
Doors open
Enter the arena and explore the concourse. The bay views from the upper-level concourse are spectacular at sunset.
Find your seat
Settle in for the Heat's fire-themed intro and player introductions. The arena fills in waves. Don't be surprised by empty seats at tip-off.
Game time
Heat games have a nightclub energy, pounding bass, dramatic lighting, and a crowd that peaks in the second half. The 'White Hot' playoff atmosphere is elite. Total game time is about 2-2.5 hours.
Halftime break
Hit the concourse for Cuban sandwiches or empanadas. The waterfront concourse is worth the walk for the bay views.
Post-game scene
Walk to Bayside Marketplace or Brickell for late-night dining and nightlife. Miami's post-game scene lasts well into the early morning.
Tips & Fan Reports
Be in your seat before tipoff so you can feel the Heat during the pregame intros. Seriously the lights and sound are worth showing up for. The atmosphere is electric for big games.
South Beach is 15 min by Uber/Lyft. Many visitors combine a Heat game with a night on Ocean Drive.
Halftime food lines are shorter in the upper sections. The 100-level concourse gets packed.
Dress code is casual but Miami fans trend fashionable. You'll see more designer brands than team jerseys.
Miami traffic is brutal. Leave extra time or use the Metromover (free!) to avoid the Biscayne Boulevard gridlock.
The Metromover is free and loops downtown Miami - use it to avoid traffic from Brickell or the Arts District.
Biscayne Bay waterfront is gorgeous at sunset. Arrive early for a walk along the water before heading inside.
The 10 by 6 by 2 inch bag limit is among the smallest in the league. Travel with nothing if you can.
Doors open only an hour before the event, so arriving much earlier means waiting outside.
There is no tailgating here; downtown Miami around the arena is the pregame.
Before the Game

The bag limit is one of the tightest anywhere: nothing over 10 by 6 by 2 inches, with every bag searched, and the arena's own advice is to bring none at all for faster entry. And doors open just one hour before the event for most nights, so there is no long build-up inside.

Pregame Rules
What Kaseya Center allows before the game, and what it does not.
