Know Before You Go
- Bag policy
Bags are prohibited, except for one clutch no larger than 4.5 x 6.5 x 1 inches and medical or parent bags no larger than 14 x 14 x 6 inches.
Medical and parent bags must be X-rayed at designated entry locations.
- Bag storage
Paid Binbox lockers are outside Kia Center on the street-level northwest plaza near Tavern on Church, off Church Street and Division Avenue.
The contactless lockers can hold noncompliant items such as oversized bags, laptops, and cameras. Download the Binbox app before first use.
- Gate opening
All Kia Center doors open 90 minutes before Magic tipoff unless otherwise specified.
- Mobile tickets
Magic tickets are fully digital and must be accessed on a mobile device through the Orlando Magic app for arena entry.
Save tickets and parking passes to the phone before arrival. Screenshots are not accepted, and tickets must be formally transferred when sending them to another guest.
- Re-entry
Kia Center does not allow re-entry after a guest leaves unless the guest has an unused or unscanned ticket.
- Prohibited items
Prohibited items include backpacks and noncompliant bags, bottles and cans, coolers, outside food or drink, weapons, drugs, drones, fireworks, balloons, laptops, lasers, flashlights, noisemakers, recording gear, professional cameras, recreation equipment, oversized or pole-mounted signs, wrapped gifts, and strollers.
Magic games also prohibit GoPros, selfie sticks, tripods, monopods, optical-illusion items, and clothing or signs with explicit or derogatory content. Security may reject other unsafe items.
- First aid
First Aid locations are on the Terrace Level near Section 118 and the Promenade Level near Section 230.
EMTs and AEDs are on site for every event. Ask Guest Services or security for assistance.
- Nursing and lactation
A free Mamava lactation pod for nursing or pumping is on the east Terrace Level near Section 116.
Use the Mamava app to access the pod.
- Tickets for children
A child shorter than 36 inches may enter a Magic game without a ticket when seated on an adult's lap; anyone 36 inches or taller needs a ticket.
- Guest services
Guest Assistance stations are on the north end of the Terrace Level near Section 111 and the Promenade Level near Section 219.

- Service animals
Guests with disabilities may bring animals individually trained to perform work or tasks related to a disability.
A service animal may not use an additional seat unless a ticket was purchased for that adjacent seat.
- Smoking and vaping
Tobacco use and smoking are prohibited inside Kia Center; the designated smoking area for Magic games is the Magic Grill.
Game Day Timeline
What the day looks like at Kia Center, hour by hour.
Arrive in downtown Orlando
Park in an arena garage or take the free LYMMO bus. Explore Church Street's bars and restaurants or walk along Orange Avenue.
Pregame dining
Grab dinner at Wall Street Plaza, Tin & Taco, or one of the Church Street restaurants. Cuban food and craft beer are the moves.
Doors open
Enter the arena and explore the concourse. Check out the Magic team store and the interactive fan zones.
Find your seat
Settle in for the Magic's blue-themed intro show and player introductions. Stuff the Magic Dragon entertains early arrivals.
Game time
Magic games have a fun, family-friendly atmosphere with solid production values. Tourist visitors add a unique energy. Total game time is about 2-2.5 hours.
Halftime break
Hit the concourse for Cuban sandwiches or local craft beer. The upper-level stands have shorter lines.
Post-game scene
Walk to Church Street or Wall Street Plaza for post-game bars and nightlife. Orlando's downtown scene is compact and walkable.

Halftime food lines are shorter on the upper-level concourse.
Wall Street Plaza downtown has a cluster of bars popular with pregame crowds.
Kia Center is in downtown Orlando - International Drive tourist restaurants are 15+ miles away. Eat downtown.
The LYMMO bus is free and loops through downtown. Use it to avoid parking hassles.
Church Street district (5 min walk) has more pregame options than the immediate arena area.
Magic tickets are among the most affordable in the NBA, great value for families visiting Orlando.
Doors open an hour before the printed time, so downtown Orlando is where the wait happens.
One 4.5 by 6.5 by 1 inch clutch is the entire bag allowance for anyone without a medical or parent bag.
Pre-paid parking closes at 5 p.m. the day before. There is no booking it on the morning of the game.
The pedestrian bridge is on the 5th floor of the ThreatLocker Garage, but that floor may already be full, so do not count on it.

Parking is the ThreatLocker Garage, reached from SR408 and I-4, where every floor has direct elevator access and a pedestrian bridge crosses to the arena on the 5th floor, though the 1st and 5th floors may be fully committed and are first come, first served. The 520 W Pine Street Garage is a five-minute walk. Pre-paid parking closes at 5 p.m. the day before the event. Doors generally open an hour before the printed time.

The ThreatLocker Garage
The arena's main garage, reached easily from SR408 and I-4. Every floor has direct elevator access to ground level, and the pedestrian bridge to the arena runs from the 5th floor. Attendants direct you to a floor with working elevator access.

The arena sits in downtown Orlando, which is the pregame given no tailgating policy exists and the parking is all structured.

Pregame Rules
What Kia Center allows before the game, and what it does not.
- Bags are not permitted at Kia Center events. Guests may bring one small clutch of 4.5" x 6.5" x 1" or less.
- Medical and parent bags are exceptions and are subject to X-ray at designated entry locations, to a maximum of 14" x 14" x 6".
- The ThreatLocker Garage is easily accessed from SR408 and I-4. All floors provide direct access to elevators reaching ground level and the pedestrian bridge to the arena on the 5th floor.
- The 1st and 5th floors of the ThreatLocker Garage may be fully committed and are available on a first come, first served basis. Attendants guide guests to a floor with direct elevator access.
- Parking can also be bought in the 520 W Pine St. Garage, a five-minute walk from the arena.
- Reserved and pre-paid parking is available through Ticketmaster or the Kia Center Box Office, and must be bought by 5 p.m. on the day before the event.
- Doors generally open to the public one hour before the printed event time on the ticket.
Weather
Kia Center is indoor, so these are the conditions for the parking lot and the walk in, not the seats.
Across the NBA season the warmest month is October, with an average high of 84°F, and the coldest is January, when the average low is 52°F. October is the wettest month at 3.2 inches and December the driest at 2.3 inches.
That January low ranks 29th coldest of the 30 NBA venues, and October here ranks 24th wettest.

Outside food and beverages are prohibited, though Kia Center may make individual exceptions for medical needs.

Kia Center concession and merchandise sales are cashless and accept debit cards, credit cards, Apple Pay, Google Pay, and Orlando Magic app payments.
