- Driving
- From the north there are three options. Southbound M-10 into downtown, exit at Grand River (M-5), south to the northbound I-75 service drive, then right on Brush Street for the Ford Field and Comerica Park lots. Or southbound I-75 to westbound M-8, the Davison Freeway, then a left-lane exit onto southbound M-10 and the same Grand River route. Or southbound I-75 until it merges into I-375, exiting at Madison Ave in the left lane, or at Lafayette. From the south, take northbound I-75 and cut across on I-275, the US-24 connector or M-39 to reach I-94 into downtown.

- The QLINE is a 6.6-mile circulating streetcar that stops at 12 locations along Woodward Avenue, from downtown through Midtown, New Center and the North End, running 6am to 11pm Monday to Thursday, to midnight Friday and Saturday, and 8am to 8pm Sundays. SMART and DDOT both run buses to the ballpark; SMART's FAST Gratiot, FAST Woodward and FAST Michigan services run every 15 to 30 minutes, with Gratiot and Woodward operating from 5am until roughly 1am. SMART maps are available from the Downtown Transit Center in the Buhl Building at 535 Griswold.
