- Four major thoroughfares feed downtown from every direction — Pacific Highway, Interstate 5, State Route 163 and State Route 94, the Martin Luther King Freeway — and eight freeway on- and off-ramps serve the area immediately around the ballpark. Choose a lot by the direction you will leave in rather than the way you arrive. Tailgate Park is entered from 13th Street at K Street, or Imperial Avenue between 12th and 14th; the Padres Parkade garage is entered on 10th Avenue.

- All three MTS Trolley lines plus select bus routes run direct to the ballpark. Three Trolley stations are within two blocks: 12th and Imperial, Park and Market, and the Gaslamp Quarter Station at Fifth Avenue and Harbor Drive. Service runs every 15 minutes or better during most game times, with enhanced service after most night games, and MTS free Park & Ride lots along the Trolley and Rapid routes feed in. Fares take contactless card or mobile wallet at the station validator, or the PRONTO app.

- Drop-off on 10th Avenue or Imperial Avenue. Post-game pickup easier from Gaslamp streets. 10-15 minutes from beach communities.
