Tips & Fan Reports
What fans who park here actually do, and what it cost them.
Park in the Third Base Parking lot and get there at least 30 minutes before game starts. Easy in, easy out. Do not get the pizza from the Worlds Best Pizza stand - it is not.
Rideshare from South Beach or downtown is $15-20 and often easier than dealing with Little Havana streets.
Parking is rarely a problem, Marlins attendance means the lots don't fill for most regular-season games.
Post-game traffic clears quickly due to lower attendance. You'll be on the highway in 10-15 minutes.
The official garages are covered, which matters in Miami. Your car stays out of the sun and rain.

Parking Rules
What the pass covers, what gets turned away, and the lots that run on their own rules.
Your Pass
- Buy only from the Marlins. Prepaid passes bought through third-party platforms are not valid here and can earn you a citation or an invoice in the post — use the MLB Ballpark app or marlins.com/parking and nothing else.
- Parking runs on a free-flow model with your licence plate as the credential. Nothing is scanned and no payment is collected at the entrance; you drive in and find a space.
- If you prepaid, you must still activate the session in the MLB Ballpark app on the day and add your plate. Skipping that step can result in an invoice by mail even though you paid.
- If you did not prepay, pay and register your plate using the QR code on the signage around the facilities.
- Buying in advance saves $5 on the daily rate and is the only way to guarantee an on-site space. Rates are dynamic, so they move with demand.
- Spaces are not pre-assigned and police direct arriving traffic to whichever facility suits conditions. Arriving early improves your chances of a particular garage but guarantees nothing.
- Four garages sit on the north and south sides and six surface lots on the east and west.
- Marlins Members' reserved parking in the Home Plate, First Base and Third Base garages is held until 30 minutes before first pitch, then released first come, first served.
- Valet runs only at the Home Plate Garage on the north side, opening 2.5 hours before first pitch. Approach from the corner of NW 7th Street and NW 15th Avenue and follow the valet signage.
Accessible Parking
Accessible parking is not concentrated in one garage here — every parking facility at the ballpark carries a full set of ADA spaces, and they are bought like any other pass.
- All parking facilities offer a full complement of ADA accessible spaces.
- Accessible spaces are available for purchase rather than held back for arrival on the day.
Bus & Limo Parking
Buses park on the street north of West Lot 3 rather than in the ballpark facilities.
- Bus parking is on NW 5th Street between 16th and 17th Avenue, along the north side of West Lot 3 at 1680 NW 5th Street.
- Buy bus parking in advance. Like car parking, it is dynamically priced.
Miami Marlins Car Gear
Window flags, plate frames, and decals to fly Miami Marlins colors in the lot.

How We Checked This Page
Every section below names the source it was read from and the day it was read. Where we could not reach a published figure, the page says so rather than presenting an estimate as a checked fact.
- Parking guidance
Official loanDepot park parking page read through a browser: the third-party pass warning, the free-flow licence-plate model and activation requirement, prepaid terms, member garages, ADA availability, valet, and bus parking.
- Venue policies
loanDepot park policy, accessibility, mobile-ticket, and parking guidance reviewed for entry, family, payment, food, parking, and accessibility rules.
Not yet checked against a published source
These figures are estimates. Most venues no longer publish the numbers behind them — concession and ticket pricing moved to dynamic marketplaces — so we hold them as estimates rather than dating them as verified.
- Parking prices — Never checked against a published rate: the venue's parking page, read 2026-09-05, publishes none — daily rates are dynamically priced and prepaid parking saves $5, with no figure. The 2026-07-26 figures were compiled from third-party listings (was: "loanDepot park 2026: Park & Ride $15 per vehicle and parking passes $15 per game; adjacent prepaid Premium Parking facilities up to $46").
