For 2026 Mets games, Citi Field parking costs $40 when prepaid by midnight before the game and $50 for drive-up parking, subject to availability.
Parking gates accept credit and debit cards, Mets Gift Cards, Apple Pay, and Google Pay, but not cash; cash users may convert money at the reverse ATM outside the Jackie Robinson Rotunda after temporarily parking in Lot G.

Parking Rules
What the pass covers, what gets turned away, and the lots that run on their own rules.
Your Pass
- Parking is $40 pre-paid and $50 on arrival. Pre-paid passes must be bought before midnight the night before the game.
- A maximum of two passes per account per game, and resale is prohibited.
- All lots open one hour before the stadium gates open.
- The lots are the Citi Field Main Parking Lots and Lot G, both inside the fence line, plus the Southfield/Commuter Lot, Stadium View West and Marina West.
- Commuter parking is on Roosevelt Avenue between Seaver Way and Shea Road, entered through Gate 16, at $6.00 during the 2025-26 offseason.
- The ballpark is at 41 Seaver Way, Flushing; leave the highway at Whitestone 13D or Grand Central Parkway 9P or 9E.
- Payment is credit or debit card, a Mets gift card, or Apple Pay or Google Pay. Cash is not accepted, but temporary free parking is offered in Lot G so you can reach an ATM.
Accessible Parking
Accessible spaces are in the main lots on a first-come basis, and the Lot G spaces need both a placard and separate access to Lot G.

Bus & Limo Parking
Buses and oversized vehicles have their own area north of the ballpark, opening on the same schedule as the other lots.

Getting There
Citi Field has its own subway station (Mets-Willets Point, served by the 7 Train) and the Mets document how to reach the 7 from every other line that matters, naming the transfer stop for each. They also publish what is not working: 61 St-Woodside construction may prevent express service, including the postgame Mets Super Express, for the whole 2026 season.
- Driving
- The Mets publish no driving route on their transportation pages, steering fans to mass transit instead, with a standing gridlock warning during the US Open, when parking is limited.
- Public Transit
- The 7 Train runs direct to Mets-Willets Point Station, with extra and express trains on game days, stopping in Manhattan at Hudson Yards, Times Square, 5th Avenue and Grand Central, and throughout Queens. From the E, F, M or R, transfer to the 7 at 74 Street-Broadway / Jackson Heights Roosevelt Avenue. From the N or W, transfer at Queensboro Plaza. From the G, which runs crosstown to Brooklyn, transfer at Court Square. Note that construction at 61 St-Woodside may prevent 7 express service between Queensboro Plaza and 74 Street-Broadway during 2026, including the postgame Mets Super Express.
- Rideshare
- The official rideshare drop-off and pickup area at Citi Field is just beyond the intersection of Shea Road and Boat Basin Place, a block from the Left Field Gate, in a signed area under the highway. Leave by the Left Field Gate or the Seaver, Stengel or Rotunda Gates, walk north past the Citi Bike station and cross Shea Road, and avoid the K Korner, Bullpen and Right Field gates. Pregame drop-offs can also be made along Seaver Way or Roosevelt Avenue.

MTA subway and local bus: "The fare is $3 for most riders", weekly cap $35. Commuter rail inside the city is the CityTicket, and MTA states it plainly: "For travel on one railroad within New York City without changing directions, a one-way CityTicket costs $5.25 for off-peak trains and $7.25 for peak trains." Games are evenings and weekends, so off-peak $5.25 is the game-day fare. Mets-Willets Point is inside the city, and MTA adds that one-way tickets to/from it "cost the same as tickets to/from Manhattan". The stored $5 was a near miss on the $5.25 CityTicket
