Know Before You Go
- Bag policy
Permitted clear plastic, vinyl, or PVC bags may not exceed 16 x 16 x 8 inches; small clutches may not exceed 6 x 8 inches.
Medical and infant bags are exceptions, and all approved bags are subject to inspection before entry.
- Bag storage
Bag lockers are outside the North side of loanDepot park between the North Ticket Office and PNC Club Entrance.
Medium lockers measuring 18 x 15 x 14 inches cost $15 plus tax, and large lockers measuring 18 x 32 x 14 inches cost $18 plus tax; bags are inspected before storage.
- Gate opening
General gates usually open 90 minutes before first pitch, while PNC Club and suite entrances open two hours early.
Marlins Members may enter through East Plaza Gate 11 two and a half hours before Friday and Saturday home games.
- Mobile tickets
Access Marlins tickets through the MLB Ballpark app and open the mobile barcode for entry; screenshots are not accepted.
Use the same email address used to purchase the tickets and load them before arriving at loanDepot park.
- Re-entry
Guests generally may not leave loanDepot park and re-enter with the same ticket.
Re-admission is allowed only for an emergency or a visit to the New Era Team Store on West Plaza; speak with Guest Experience before exiting.
- Prohibited items
loanDepot park prohibits weapons, outside alcohol, glass or metal containers, hard-sided coolers, drones, fireworks, illegal drugs, noisemakers, and other listed items.
Bats, inflatables, throwable sports objects, laser pointers, poles and selfie sticks, professional camera equipment, wheeled recreational devices, and noncompliant strollers are also prohibited; review the official list before arrival.
- First aid
UHealth First Aid Rooms are near Section 6 on the Promenade Level and Section 306 on the Vista Level.
For medical help, notify security or the nearest ballpark Team Member, or visit a First Aid Room; fire rescue and roving medical personnel are available during games.
- Nursing and lactation
A Mamava Nursing Pod is near Section 21, and private nursing is also available in any family restroom or First Aid Room.
The Mamava pod is available to one family at a time.
- Family restrooms
Family restrooms are near Promenade Sections 2, 7, 22, and 39; Home Run Porch Section 134; Legends Sections 201, 209, and 221; and Vista Sections 302, 312, and 318.
Baby-changing tables are available in the family restrooms on the Promenade, Legends, and Vista levels as well as in listed men's and women's restrooms.
- Tickets for children
Children younger than 3 may enter without a ticket when seated on an adult's lap without obstructing another guest's view.
Guests older than 36 months need a ticket, and using a car seat requires purchasing a ticket for the occupied seat.
- Guest services
Guest Experience kiosks are located on the Promenade Level, and Guest Experience Team Members are stationed throughout loanDepot park.
For discreet in-venue help, text the issue and location to 305-480-4999; the line also accepts wheelchair requests and safety concerns.
- Service animals
Service animals are welcome when they do not endanger or disrupt other guests; emotional-support animals are not admitted as service animals.
Call Guest Experience at 305-480-1636 if the service animal requires a specific accommodation.
- Smoking and vaping
Smoking, e-cigarettes, and vaping are prohibited inside loanDepot park, with no designated smoking areas inside or outside the venue.
Guests may not leave and re-enter for smoking.

Explore Little Havana
Calle Ocho (SW 8th Street) is a few blocks south, the heart of Little Havana. Cuban coffee, cigars, and domino games in Máximo Gómez Park.
Walk to the ballpark
The Little Havana streets around the park fill with vendors and fans. Grab a Cuban sandwich from a ventanita.
Enter and cool off
The air-conditioned interior is a welcome relief from Miami heat. The roof is almost certainly closed from May through September.
Watch batting practice
Head to the outfield to see the home run sculpture up close and watch BP.
Grab a Cuban sandwich and a mojito
The food program reflects Miami's culture, Cuban sandwiches, empanadas, ceviche, and mojitos.
Play ball
Nine innings in climate-controlled comfort. The home run sculpture in center field animates when the Marlins go deep.
Stretch and enjoy
The crowd is typically relaxed and social. Grab a final mojito.
Head to Little Havana or Wynwood
Walk to Calle Ocho for late-night Cuban food or drive to Wynwood for art district bars.
Tips & Fan Reports
Check out the Marlins Museum in left field and the Bobblehead Museum near the right field line. Your partner has to bring a small or clear bag - they are strict about the bag policy.

loanDepot park splits its tailgating rule by structure type: grills are permitted in the open-air surface lots, and cooking of any kind is prohibited in the parking garages. Wherever you are, the tailgate is limited to the space immediately behind your vehicle, and tents or trailers that take up an additional parking spot or an aisleway are not permitted in any facility. The ballpark is ringed by four garages on its north and south sides and six surface lots on the east and west, all running a free-flow parking model.

- Only the outside food and drink the rule allows
Each guest may bring one single-serving food item in a clear plastic bag and one clear, soft-sided, factory-sealed bottle of unflavored water no larger than 20 ounces.
- A card or a phone wallet
loanDepot park is cashless and accepts only electronic payment at concessions, retail locations, and 50/50 raffle sales.
