Know Before You Go
- Bag policy
Citizens Bank Park permits clear bags up to 12 x 6 x 12 inches and clutch purses or fanny packs up to 5 x 7 inches.
Medical and diaper bags are also permitted; backpacks, drawstring bags, and other non-clear bags are prohibited, and all bags are inspected.
- Bag storage
Cashless $10 lockers are available at First Base Gate, Left Field Gate, and the West Suite and Club Entrance.
- Gate opening
The entire ballpark opens 90 minutes before first pitch for regular-season games.
Third Base and Left Field gates partially open two hours before Monday through Friday games and 2.5 hours before weekend games; times may change.
- Mobile tickets
All Phillies tickets and parking passes are delivered through the MLB Ballpark app.
Screenshots are not accepted; load barcodes before security screening and forward tickets to other attendees in advance.
- Re-entry
Citizens Bank Park does not permit re-entry after a guest leaves the ticketed area.
- Prohibited items
Citizens Bank Park prohibits weapons, firearms, knives, fireworks, illegal substances, outside alcohol, glass bottles, cans, open containers, coolers, drones, and laser pointers.
Brooms, inflatables, laptops, nets, poles, noisemakers, wrapped packages, tripods, and camera lenses longer than six inches are also prohibited; review the official list before arrival.
- First aid
Staffed First Aid stations are behind Section 105 on the Main Concourse and Section 318 on the Terrace Level.

- Nursing and lactation
The private Cavity Busters Mother's Lounge is on the Main Concourse behind Section 125 between the Phillies Radio Booth and Home Plate lobby.
- Family restrooms
Citizens Bank Park has 13 public family restrooms across the Main Concourse, Club, Pavilion, Arcade, and Terrace levels.
Changing tables are available in every restroom, and an adult changing table is by the West Suite and Club Entrance.
- Tickets for children
Children age 2 and younger may enter a Phillies game without a ticket when seated on an accompanying adult's lap.
Children age 3 and older require a ticket.
- Guest services
Guest Services is behind Section 122 on the Main Concourse and Section 318 on the Terrace Level.

- Service animals
Guide dogs, service animals, and service animals in training are welcome; all other animals are prohibited.

Hit the lots early
The South Philadelphia Sports Complex parking lots have a legit tailgating scene. Fans set up grills, coolers, and cornhole boards hours before first pitch.
Tailgate or hit Xfinity Live!
Xfinity Live! is the sports entertainment complex in the parking lot area with bars, restaurants, and TVs. The outdoor areas fill with red-clad Phillies fans.
Enter through Ashburn Alley
Ashburn Alley in center field is the main food and entertainment hub inside the park. Grab a cheesesteak and explore the concourse.
Watch batting practice
Head to the outfield sections for BP. The home run bell in right field rings when the Phillies go deep.
Grab a cheesesteak and find your seat
The cheesesteak stands have the longest lines. Go now or during BP to avoid the 3rd-inning rush.
Play ball
Nine innings of Philly baseball. The crowd is loud, engaged, and will boo their own players if warranted. That's Philly love.
Stand up and stretch
The crowd sings and the energy peaks. Grab a final soft pretzel and a Yards Brawler.
Broad Street subway or Xfinity Live!
Take the Broad Street Line back to Center City or head to Xfinity Live! for postgame drinks. The lots clear in 20-30 minutes.
Tips & Fan Reports
Take the Broad Street Line. NRG Station is right at the ballpark. Parking is fine but the subway is easier.
Xfinity Live! next door is the unofficial pregame and postgame headquarters for all Philly sports.
Ashburn Alley (behind center field) is a food court with Philly cheesesteaks, Chickie's & Pete's crab fries, and more.
Citizens Bank Park has one of the best tailgating cultures in MLB - same lots as Eagles games. Arrive early.
Philly fans are intense. Embrace it. They're the most passionate in baseball and they know the game.
Ashburn Alley (center field concourse) has the best food selection, cheesesteaks, crab fries, and the Schmitter.
Check the lot letter: A-H and M-O tailgate and open five hours out; everything west of Darien or north of Pattison does neither.

A sponsored tailgate needs approval: unapproved branding is treated as vending and can get you removed.

The lots that permit it open five hours before first pitch, while the ones that do not open three, so the lot on your pass sets both where you can set up and how early you can arrive. Everything is cashless, taking cards, Apple Pay and Google Pay, and there is no advertising, selling or vending of any kind in any lot, which extends to a tailgate carrying an unapproved sponsor.
