What to Expect
Dodger Stadium is the largest and one of the oldest active ballparks in MLB, sitting in Chavez Ravine above downtown Los Angeles with views of the San Gabriel Mountains, palm trees, and the downtown skyline. The ballpark is an LA institution. It's hosted the Dodgers since 1962 and has seen everyone from Sandy Koufax to Clayton Kershaw to Shohei Ohtani. The game-day experience is uniquely LA: arrive late, leave early, traffic everywhere, perfect weather, and some of the best food in baseball thanks to LA's diverse culinary scene. The Dodger Dog is iconic. Games run about 3 hours.

Tips & Fan Reports
Buy the cheapest loge section ticket possible. It doesn't matter which ticket you buy because you can always find open seats behind home plate or on the baselines during weeknight games.
Be mentally prepared for really bad traffic getting in and out. It is much worse than Angel Stadium. Get there early and leave early if you can. You can bring in your own food, snacks, and sealed drinks.
Dodger Dogs are fun for the experience but don't get your hopes up. No good value beer either at about $19 for a tall can. Walk around the pavilion area for most of the new additions and check out the Gold Glove bar in left field.
The Reserve Level is where the postcard view is: field, palms and mountains together.
Four Metro lines converge on Union Station (A, B, D and, via Metrolink and Amtrak, the regional network), which is where the Express picks up.
Each level has its own entrance off its own parking terrace, so park on the level your ticket is for and you walk straight in rather than climbing.
From the 101 southbound it is the Alvarado Street exit, then roughly a mile along Sunset before Vin Scully Avenue.
Parking gates open only half an hour before the stadium gates, so there is little waiting time built in.
Buy parking in advance — the club asks for it specifically to speed up the auto gates.
Drinkrail seats on the Field Level are stools at a rail, not seats in a row — a different proposition worth knowing before you buy.
