Wrigley Field seats 41,649 fans in one of the most intimate settings in baseball. Opened in 1914, the ballpark is compact — there isn't a bad seat in the house, but some have quirks (support columns, angled views) that come with the historic territory. The bleachers in the outfield are the most famous section, offering views of the ivy-covered walls and the most social atmosphere. The field boxes and terrace sections behind home plate provide the classic sightlines. Recent renovations have added video boards and modern amenities while preserving the ballpark's historic character.

Second deck with an elevated view of the full diamond. Some of the best overall sightlines at Wrigley for the price.

The Pros

  • Great panoramic view at a moderate price

  • Good value for day games when sun is a factor

The Cons

  • Some sections have obstructed views from support columns
  • Steeper stairs than modern ballparks

The Pros

  • Most affordable seats at Wrigley
  • Unique elevated perspective on the game
  • Great views of the manual scoreboard

The Cons

  • Steep climb up narrow ramps
  • Farthest from the action

The Pros

  • The most iconic section in all of baseball
  • Best atmosphere — social, loud, and rowdy
  • Right behind the ivy — closest to home run territory

The Cons

  • No shade — full sun exposure on afternoon games
  • Bench-style seating with no backs (being upgraded)
  • Can get rowdy for late-night rivalry games
