What to Expect
Angel Stadium sits in Anaheim alongside the Santa Ana Freeway (I-5), surrounded by a massive parking lot and the nearby Honda Center (Anaheim Ducks). The park opened in 1966 and was renovated multiple times, most recently adding the signature rocks and waterfall display in center field that erupts when the Angels hit a home run. The California weather makes this one of the most pleasant outdoor baseball experiences, warm, dry, and sunny from April through October. The atmosphere is laid-back and family-friendly, with strong Latino fan culture reflected in the food and music.

Tips & Fan Reports
Angel Stadium parking is $20. Other lots around the stadium are $10-15. Get to the stadium when gates open - 90 minutes before first pitch - and head to field level section 128-129 to watch batting practice from the railing.
Unlike Dodger Stadium, Angel Stadium lets fans without field level tickets go down to the railing to watch batting practice. Take advantage of this - it is a great experience before the game starts.
I don't really like the stadium food so I normally eat before. Cathy's Cookies are my go-to for a sweet tooth. The helmet nachos are what most people get if you want to eat inside.
Three lot entrances: Douglass Road, State College Boulevard and Orangewood Avenue — pick by which direction you arrive from.
No drinking in the lot: the club states it is illegal rather than against policy.
The park is cashless. Reverse ATMs are at Sections 133 (Field), 237 (Terrace) and 418 (View).
Angel Stadium is Field / Terrace / Club / View, numbered 100 / 200 / 300 / 400. There is no 500 Level, whatever a resale listing tells you.
A day game opens the gates only an hour before first pitch, half the notice a night game gives.
The Big A Lot or nothing — it is the single lot where tailgating is allowed.
The Angels' directions carry mileages between turns, which makes them unusually easy to follow without a navigation app.

How We Checked This Page
Every section below names the source it was read from and the day it was read. Where we could not reach a published figure, the page says so rather than presenting an estimate as a checked fact.
- Venue facts
Wikipedia / Official Venue Page
- Parking prices
Official Angels directions page, 2026 regular season day-of-game: $25 general parking purchased in person ($27 online), $35 preferred. Stored $20 was the prior rate; arenacapacity still carries it and parkingaccess notes the club's own pages disagree, so the official page governs. Platinum Triangle figure not re-checked.
- Food prices
Angel Stadium 2026: general parking $20 (official pages inconsistent, $25 listed elsewhere); helmet nachos $22
- Venue policies
Angel Stadium security, guest, accessibility, and mobile-ticket guides reviewed for entry, family, payment, food, and accessibility rules.

These figures are estimates. Most venues no longer publish the numbers behind them — concession and ticket pricing moved to dynamic marketplaces — so we hold them as estimates rather than dating them as verified.
