Know Before You Go
- Bag policy
Bags and purses are prohibited; permitted clutches may be no larger than 4 x 6 x 2 inches.
Diaper and medical bags up to 14 x 14 x 6 inches are allowed and must be X-rayed at Door 5, the northeast main entrance.
- Gate opening
Doors are scheduled to open 90 minutes before Mammoth home games.
Check the specific event listing before travel because the published time is a standard schedule.
- Mobile tickets
All Delta Center tickets are digital; no paper tickets are used for entry.
Tickets can be managed, accessed, transferred, or sold through the Delta Center or Utah Mammoth app; SeatGeek is the official ticketing partner.
- Re-entry
Re-entry for Mammoth games is set by event or arena management and may vary by game; confirm the rule before exiting.
- Prohibited items
Prohibited items include noncompliant bags, aerosols, recording devices, signs, projectiles, bottles and cans, coolers, drones, weapons, fireworks, flasks, flashlights, illegal substances, lasers, pepper spray, noisemakers, professional cameras, outside food or drink, poles, umbrellas, strollers, and tripods.
The list is not exhaustive, and management may reject other items it considers inappropriate.
- First aid
The First Aid Station is on the Main Level near Portal L, with trained EMTs available during events.
For assistance, contact Guest Services or Event Security or text 801-901-8111.
- Nursing and lactation
Six Cozy Earth Mother's Rooms are on the Main Concourse near Doors 1 and 7 and on Level 5 next to the Sensory Room.
The rooms include seating, TVs, sinks, and full-length mirrors.
- Family restrooms
Family restrooms are on the Main Level by Portals G and T, the Terrace Level by Portals CC and QQ, and the Club Level in the Toyota Club.
Baby-changing stations are in all family restrooms and most men's and women's restrooms.
- Tickets for children
Children younger than 24 months may enter free if they share a seat with a ticketed adult; children 24 months and older need a ticket.
- Guest services
Guest Services desks are at Door 4/Portal Y on the Main Level and Portal CC on the Terrace Level/Upper Bowl.
Report conduct or safety concerns to arena staff or text SOS DELTA to 848-261. The non-event-day arena number is 801-325-2000.
- Service animals
Trained service animals and service animals in training are welcome in public arena areas; pets are prohibited.
Service animals must remain leashed unless a required task prevents it, and handlers are responsible for cleanup and damage.
- Smoking and vaping
Delta Center is smoke-free, but guests may use the designated outdoor smoking area beyond Door 9 on the Main Level.
E-cigarettes are prohibited inside and allowed only in the designated area, at least 25 feet from the building.

Downtown SLC pregame
Explore the Gateway district adjacent to the arena or head to the Main Street bar scene for craft beer and local restaurants.
Gateway dining
The Gateway has restaurants and bars within walking distance of the Delta Center. Grab dinner before the game.
Doors open
Enter the Delta Center and watch warm-ups. The energy of a new franchise is palpable, the building is electric.
Find your seat
Settle in for the pregame show. Utah HC fans are building their traditions, the atmosphere grows with every game.
Game time
Three 20-minute periods. The newest NHL franchise playing in a city that already knows how to support its teams.
Hit the concourse
Grab a Navajo taco or a Wasatch Brewery draft. The concourse was updated for the hockey transition.
Main Street nightlife
Main Street has bars and restaurants open late. TRAX runs until about midnight for an easy ride home.
Tips & Fan Reports
The Utah Mammoth are brand new to the NHL, the fan energy is off the charts as the city builds its hockey identity.
The Mammoth are brand new - the franchise relocated from Arizona in 2024 and took its permanent name in 2025. Energy in the arena is high.
TRAX light rail is free in the downtown zone - $0 to ride to the arena from anywhere in downtown SLC.
Salt Lake is at 4,226 feet elevation. Drink water and go easy on alcohol, especially if visiting from sea level.
The Wasatch Mountains are visible from downtown. Take a moment to appreciate the backdrop. Stunning in winter.
The Gateway Mall next to the arena has restaurants and entertainment for a full evening out.
There is no arena lot and no published tailgating policy; the pregame is downtown Salt Lake City.
TRAX is free within the Free Fare Downtown Zone, which reaches the arena, so the train costs nothing.
The clutch limit is 4 by 6 by 2 inches, which is smaller than most phones-plus-wallet combinations. Travel with nothing if you can.
A permitted diaper or medical bag has to enter at Door 5. It is the only door with an X-ray.
Before the Game
There is no tailgating question at Delta Center: the arena holds no surface lot and publishes no policy on it, so the hour before a game belongs to downtown Salt Lake City. Getting there is unusually cheap. UTA TRAX is free provided you enter and exit within the Free Fare Downtown Zone, which reaches the arena. What needs planning is the bag policy, which is tight even by arena standards. Purses and bags are refused, clutches are capped at 4 by 6 by 2 inches, and the diaper and medical bags that are permitted up to 14 by 14 by 6 must come in through Door 5 on the northeast corner, the only entrance with bag X-ray.
