The Soul of Salt Lake City

The Delta Center sits on the western edge of downtown Salt Lake City, adjacent to the Gateway shopping district. Utah Hockey Club is the NHL's newest franchise — relocated from Arizona in 2024 — and Salt Lake City has embraced the team with enormous enthusiasm. The arena was renovated for hockey, and the fan base has been building rapidly. Salt Lake is at 4,226 feet elevation — not as extreme as Denver but visitors should hydrate. The Wasatch Mountains visible from downtown add a stunning backdrop to the game-day experience.
