SAP Center, the Shark Tank, has 17,562 seats in a two-level bowl. The lower level wraps close to the ice and the upper level has a steep rake that keeps sightlines excellent even in the back rows. The arena opened in 1993 and has the character of a purpose-built hockey barn. The Shark Tank is famously loud, especially during power plays when the crowd does the Shark Fin Chomp. The atmosphere is what makes this arena special, the sightlines are good everywhere, but the noise is what you'll remember.
