The Scotiabank Saddledome has a unique saddle-shaped roof that creates an intimate 19,289-seat bowl. It's the oldest arena in the NHL (opened 1983) but the steep seating rake means even upper-level seats have good sightlines. The lower bowl sits close to the ice and the atmosphere, the C of Red, is one of the best in hockey. The tight concourse means moving around is challenging during intermissions, but the seating bowl itself is a great hockey-watching environment.
