PPG Paints Arena is a modern, 18,387-seat arena that opened in 2010 to replace the historic Mellon Arena. The two-level bowl (lower and upper) is well-designed with excellent sightlines throughout. The lower bowl wraps tight around the ice, and the upper level has a steep rake for clear views. Club suites and premium seating are located between the levels. The arena is bright, modern, and one of the better hockey viewing experiences built in the 2010s.
