Huntington Bank Field reserves its adjacent lots for event and game passholders; drivers without a pass are directed offsite. The stadium recommends advance reservations through its official parking partner JustPark. The city-run Muni Lot is a separate tailgating location, and downtown lots are also listed within walking distance.
Road Closures on Game Day
- The eastbound Route 2 ramp to East 9th Street closes at 10:30 a.m.
- All highway exits around Huntington Bank Field are closed by 11 a.m., so arriving late means a longer way round.
- East 9th and West 3rd reopen after kickoff and close again at the end of the game.

What fans who park here actually do, and what it cost them.
Park at Tower City and walk across the Veterans Memorial Bridge. About a 15-minute walk and you skip the lakefront traffic completely. Plus you get a great view of the skyline.
The Rowley Inn has local comfort food staples if you can make it. It is a short walk from the stadium. Also check out Barrio's for some of the best tacos around.
The stadium's adjacent lots require a parking pass.
Many downtown lots operate on a cash-only basis, so check your chosen facility's payment arrangements.
RTA rail-station parking is free; use the Waterfront, Blue or Green Line to W. 3rd Street or transfer at Tower City.
Passholders and ADA drop-off use North Marginal Road from East 55th Street (I-90 Exit 175) once closures are in force.
W. 3rd St. Station is across the street from the stadium. Tower City is a 15-minute walk further out.
Parking at GCRTA rail stations is free, which makes park-and-ride cheaper than any lot downtown.
During rolling closures the West 3rd and East 9th exits off Route 2 shut. Public parking is reached from I-90 instead.
Red Line riders have to transfer at Tower City; the Red Line does not reach the waterfront.

Once the highway exits shut, pass holders reach the stadium via North Marginal westbound from East 55th Street. It is the only approach left, so come in from the east rather than trying the downtown ramps.
Adjacent stadium lots are reserved for event and game passholders and open four hours before a Browns kickoff.

Your Pass
- You are charged for every space you occupy in the Municipal Lot, and saving spaces for a later arrival is prohibited.
- The Municipal Lot has no in/out privileges. Once you are parked, the car stays until you leave for good.
- Crossing the Shoreway on foot is prohibited.
- Drones may not be flown in the Muni Lot or within five miles of Burke Lakefront Airport, which sits directly alongside it.
Not Allowed In
- Large vehicles including motorhomes, RVs and buses are not allowed in the lots before their designated start times.
Accessible Parking
Cleveland routes accessible drop-offs the same way it routes pass holders: once the highway exits close, North Marginal westbound from East 55th Street is the only approach to the stadium.

Getting There
Huntington Bank Field is the rare NFL stadium whose driving guidance is mostly a list of roads you cannot use. Rolling closures shut the lakefront approaches up to three hours before kickoff, so the stadium publishes one set of exits for public parking downtown and an entirely separate route for passholders and ADA drop-off. Rail is the clean way in: the Blue, Green and Waterfront Lines stop at W. 3rd St. Station, across the street from the stadium.
- Driving
- Rolling road closures begin as early as three hours before kickoff, and while they are in force the West 3rd and East 9th exits off Route 2 (the Shoreway) are closed. For public parking downtown the stadium directs drivers to the I-90 exits at Ontario (171), East 9th (172A), Prospect (173A) or Superior (173C). Parking passholders and fans heading for the ADA drop-off are routed differently: during the closures the only way in is North Marginal Road from East 55th Street, Exit 175 on I-90. After the game, stadium access stays restricted for at least an hour, so arrange any pick-up with that delay built in. Closure times are set with the City of Cleveland and the Cleveland Police Department and are subject to change.
- Public Transit
- GCRTA runs four rail lines through downtown Cleveland: Red, Blue, Green and Waterfront. The closest station to the stadium is W. 3rd St. Station, served by the Blue, Green and Waterfront Lines; exit there and the stadium is across the street. Tower City Center Station is served by all four lines and is about a 15-minute walk to the stadium via W. 3rd Street, so Red Line riders transfer at Tower City onto a Blue, Green or Waterfront train. Most Blue and Green Line trains carry on to the waterfront, stopping at W. 3rd St. Station on the way to the terminal at South Harbor Station; Blue and Green Line riders pay when exiting. Waterfront Line service runs after the game until all passengers have cleared W. 3rd Street Station. Parking at GCRTA rail stations is free, and fares can be handled in the Transit App with EZfare or with an All-Day Pass bought from a ticket vending machine inside a rail station.
- Walking
- Walking in from downtown, fans can only reach the stadium via West 3rd or East 9th streets. From Tower City Center it is about a 15-minute walk up W. 3rd Street.
