Tailgating Protocol
Tailgating is permitted in designated parking areas at Caesars Superdome.
Lots typically open 3–5 hours before the scheduled game time.
All tailgating must end and grills must be extinguished by kickoff.
Charcoal and propane grills are allowed; no open flames on the ground or deep fryers.
Each tailgate setup must stay within one standard parking space.
Canopies and pop-up tents (10×10 max) are permitted; must be taken down before entering.
Glass containers, kegs, and beer pong tables are prohibited in all lots.
Strategic Zones
Champions Square
The outdoor plaza adjacent to the Superdome that transforms into a pregame festival on game days. Live brass bands, food vendors, beer tents, and the heartbeat of Who Dat Nation pregame. Free entry.
Lot A (South Surface Lots)
The traditional tailgating area south of the Superdome. Surface lots with space for grills, coolers, and full tailgate setups. The closest thing to traditional NFL tailgating near the dome.
Bourbon Street / French Quarter
Not a parking lot, but the ultimate Saints pregame destination. Black-and-gold jerseys fill the bars, brass bands play Saints fight songs, and the energy of the French Quarter amplifies everything.
