Getting to Northwest Stadium

Northwest Stadium is on the Metro, but not next to it: Morgan Boulevard station is served by the Blue and Silver Lines and is about a mile — 20 minutes on foot — from the stadium, with no regular shuttle bridging the gap. The stadium says so plainly, which is more useful than implying the station is close.

Get to the stadium by 11 for a 1pm game so you have time to enter the lots, find parking, and walk in. You can not tailgate once the game starts so plan your time around that.

- Driving
- The stadium publishes no driving route on its transit page. Rideshare pick-ups and drop-offs must use the Rideshare/RedZone Lot at the Prince George's Sports and Learning Complex, on the corner of Harvey Drive and Sheriff Road.
- Public Transit
- Take the Blue or Silver Line to Morgan Boulevard Metro Station on Garrett Morgan Boulevard. There is no regular shuttle between the station and the stadium, though Metro Access vans can be booked in advance by qualifying riders. For concerts Metro runs frequent service and stays available at the end, and will get you to your destination if the event overruns normal service hours.
- Rideshare
- Uber and Lyft serve Northwest Stadium with a designated pickup/dropoff area. From downtown DC, expect $25-40 one-way with game-day surge pricing. From Northern Virginia, $30-50. Post-game wait times can reach 20-30 minutes.
- Walking
- Morgan Boulevard station is about a mile from the stadium, roughly a 20-minute walk, and there is no shuttle — plan for it in both directions.

Northwest Stadium’s own transit page: "there are no shuttles from the station to the stadium unless you need a Metro Access van, which can be scheduled in advance" -- Morgan Boulevard is a mile away and you walk it, so the shuttle entry named a service that does not exist and was removed. WMATA’s Metrorail is distance-based on weekday peak ($2.25-$6.75) but "Weekend $2.25 - $2.50" regardless of distance, and NFL games are Sunday, so the stored $4 was a weekday-peak-shaped figure on a weekend trip. $2.50 is the top of the weekend band and is stored WITHOUT the provisional flag on purpose: a 25-cent band is not the same uncertainty as Capital One Arena’s $2.25-$6.75 weekday spread, which is why those two venues are recorded exceptions and this one is not. Driving entries carry no transit fare by definition
