What to Expect
The new Highmark Stadium opened for the 2026 season in Orchard Park, a suburban town about 15 miles south of downtown Buffalo, directly across the street from the 1973 stadium it replaced. The surrounding lots still turn into one of the NFL's most legendary tailgating scenes on game day, though the numbered lots gave way to a colour-coded scheme with the move. Bills fans, known as the Bills Mafia, are famous for their passionate, raucous pre-game celebrations. Plan to arrive hours early for the tailgate, which is honestly half the reason to attend a Bills game. Note that the new building is entirely cashless and every official lot except accessible parking must be bought in advance.

Official stadium parking passes are $150+ due to construction shortages. Park in a private lot in the surrounding Orchard Park neighborhood - locals charge $5-25 and it's a short walk.
If at all possible I always recommend driving. Ubering to the game is usually okay but getting one after the game can be a nightmare. People routinely wait hours for Ubers after the game.
Get there real early like 4 hours before the game. Bring food because the tailgate is the best part. Just stop drinking when you get into the stadium and you should be good to go.
If you're coming from Toronto, leave early so you can take in the full tailgating experience. Get there at least 4 hours before the game - the lots are the party.
Don't pay stadium parking unless you brought tailgating gear like a grill. Otherwise the neighborhood private lots are the way to go - you'll save $100+.
In-stadium food is expensive and mostly not great. I would suggest getting a sub from somewhere to bring with you. There are some food vendors along the road near the stadium too.
Row 1 in the lower sections seems cool because you are closer but Row 22 at the end has easy access to bathrooms, food, etc. It depends on what matters to you more.
Beef on Weck is Buffalo's signature dish, thinly sliced roast beef on a kummelweck roll with horseradish. Try it.
Entry is by lot: Blue from Big Tree Road eastbound side, Bronze from Southwestern Boulevard on the west.
NFTA runs Game Day Express buses, but routes and timings are on the NFTA site rather than the stadium's.
