The Bills moved into the new Highmark Stadium for the 2026 season, directly across the street from the 1973 stadium, and the lot scheme changed with it. Numbered lots are gone; lots are now colour-coded — Platinum, Gold, Bronze, Green, Gray, Orange, Blue and White — with Blue ADA and White ADA for accessible parking. The Bills publish no parking rates. Every pass is sold in advance through the team's ticketing partner at a per-game price, season passes for the opening season sold out before it began, and event-day sales are limited to accessible parking only. The Buffalo News reported the new rates at about 50% above the old stadium's; 2026 resale listings opened at $75 to $139 depending on the opponent, and an August 2026 Action Network study put the average paid for a stadium-owned lot at $132 a game, the highest in the NFL. Private lots near the stadium publish their own rates, from about $70 a game. The lot figures below are estimates, not published rates. Each pass is valid for one named lot and one space, and the lots have separate entrances off different roads, so the approach you take is not interchangeable. The stadium is fully cashless. Lots open four hours before kickoff and close two hours after the game ends.

Road Closures on Game Day

  • Abbott Road closes to all vehicle traffic six hours before kickoff, between Bills Drive and the NFTA Transportation Hub.
  • Big Tree Road (Route 20A) closes to westbound traffic after the game only, from Fieldhouse Drive to Route 219, and to eastbound traffic after the game only.

Tips & Fan Reports

What fans who park here actually do, and what it cost them.

Official stadium parking passes are $150+ due to construction shortages. Park in a private lot in the surrounding Orchard Park neighborhood - locals charge $5-25 and it's a short walk.

OrchardParkLocal

Don't pay stadium parking unless you brought tailgating gear like a grill. Otherwise the neighborhood private lots are the way to go - you'll save $100+.

BudgetBillsFan

The stadium is entirely cashless. Parking, concessions and retail all require a card.

Abbott Road shuts between Bills Drive and the NFTA hub six hours before kickoff — plan around it rather than through it.

Abbott Road private lots stay the flexible option if the official lots have sold out.

VYT Research

Buy your pass in advance. Every official lot except accessible parking is advance-purchase only, and there are no event-day sales.

Lots open four hours before kickoff and close two hours after the final whistle.

RV parking needs a permit and entry is the day before only, between 8:00 AM and 10:00 PM.

Check which road your lot sits off before you leave. Passes are lot-specific and the entrances feed from four different roads, so the wrong approach means a lap around the stadium.

Reach these from the south end of Abbott Road. The stretch between Bills Drive and the NFTA Transportation Hub shuts to traffic six hours before kickoff, so arrive early or approach from below the closure.

Independent lots and driveways along Abbott Road, unaffiliated with the team and unaffected by the stadium move. Long the home of the rowdiest Bills Mafia tailgates.

  • Prices vary by lot and opponent
  • Many still take cash
  • Arrive early for the closest spots

Parking Rules

What the pass covers, what gets turned away, and the lots that run on their own rules.

Your Pass

  • A pass is valid only for the lot printed on it, and cannot be used to park in a different lot.
  • Spaces are not pre-assigned. You cannot choose your own spot; parking staff direct you to a space.
  • One space per vehicle. One car, one space.
  • No refunds are given for lost, stolen or unused passes.
  • Event-day parking sales are limited to accessible parking only. Everything else is advance purchase.
  • The stadium is entirely cashless — parking, concessions and retail all require a card.

Not Allowed In

  • Box trucks are not permitted.
  • No vehicle may enter with anything in tow — grills, trailers and the like.
  • Sprinter vans of any size are sent to the Limo Lot and need a pass bought in advance.

Accessible Parking

Blue ADA and White ADA are the designated accessible lots, and the only parking still sold on event day. Spaces are first come, first served, and payment is cashless and taken on arrival. The Bills publish no rate for these lots either.

  • First come, first served. No advance permits are sold for these lots.
  • A state- or town-issued disability parking placard is required. Vehicles parked in accessible spaces without one are subject to towing and fines.
  • Payment is cashless and taken on arrival.
  • Golf-cart transport runs between the accessible lots and the stadium gates for fans who need it.

RV Parking

RVs park in a dedicated lot and have to arrive the day before — there is no game-day entry at all. These are the tightest rules in the whole parking operation, and the arrival window is the one most likely to catch someone out.

  • Entry opens at 8:00 AM the day before a home game and closes at 10:00 PM that night. There is no game-day entry for RVs.
  • Vehicles may not exit and re-enter the lot on game days.
  • RVs may not leave on game day until two hours after the game ends, and every RV must be out by 2:00 PM the following day.
  • No parking or lining up early along Southwestern Boulevard.
  • Parking staff position vehicles to fit the lot; spacing is required side to side and nose to tail.
  • No power and no septic service in the lot.
  • Fire lanes, marked with yellow diagonal lines, must stay clear at all times.
  • No golf carts, skateboards, bikes or drones. Pets must be leashed.
  • Quiet hours begin at 10:00 PM.

Bus & Limo Parking

Buses, limos and Sprinter vans park in a dedicated lot on permits bought in advance through the Bills ticket office.

  • Permits must be bought in advance through the Buffalo Bills ticket office.
  • No tailgating or loitering beside or around parked buses.
  • Buses and limos may not leave on game day until one hour after the game ends.
  • Sprinter vans of any size park here and need an advance pass.

How We Checked This Page

Every section below names the source it was read from and the day it was read. Where we could not reach a published figure, the page says so rather than presenting an estimate as a checked fact.

Parking guidance

Buffalo Bills Highmark Stadium Parking page, read 2026-09-04, for the lot names, the advance-purchase rule and the accessible-lot terms; it publishes no rate for any lot. Rise over the old stadium from the Buffalo News (headline: rates up by 50%); 2026 resale floors of $75-$139 from ParkingAccess; the $132 average for stadium-owned lots from the Action Network study as reported by Buffalo Toronto Public Media on 2026-08-18, which also reported season parking passes sold out; the private-lot floor from Yellow Brick's own page ($70 a game, $560 a season).

These figures are estimates. Most venues no longer publish the numbers behind them — concession and ticket pricing moved to dynamic marketplaces — so we hold them as estimates rather than dating them as verified.

  • Parking prices — Never checked against a published rate: the Bills publish none. Every pass is sold in advance at a per-game price, and the stored figures are pre-season estimates from third-party guides that sit below what the old stadium charged in 2025. The three official-lot categories are flagged provisional; the record is data/nfl/_price-review/bills.md, 2026-09-04. The earlier reference-table stamp claimed a check against a page that publishes no figure.
