What to Expect
Golden 1 Center is the crown jewel of downtown Sacramento, anchoring the DOCO (Downtown Commons) entertainment district. Opened in 2016, it's one of the newest and most technologically advanced arenas in the NBA. Sacramento is known as America's Farm-to-Fork Capital, and the arena's food program reflects that with local, seasonal ingredients from Central Valley farms. The Kings fan base is one of the most loyal in the NBA. This city fought hard to keep its team, and the energy at Golden 1 Center shows it.

Tips & Fan Reports
Park in the Downtown Plaza West garage at 3rd and L Street. Tell the attendant you are going to the movies and you will not get charged the Golden 1 Center event rate. This is the worst kept secret in Sacramento.
Any seat is a good seat at Golden 1 Center. If you are on a budget go for an upper level sideline seat. The sight lines are great and it is one of the best arenas in the NBA even up top.
They have a cardboard cutout example of the allowed bag size at the entrance. Check the website before you go because they will make you go back to your car if your bag is too large.
Weekend Gold Line construction is ongoing for the light rail modernisation — check the schedule before a weekend game.
RUSH by Sire Spirits and ASSEMBLY by Crown Royal share one private 360-degree central bar between them.
Roseville Transit's Game Day Express runs non-stop to Kings games from Roseville.
Buy parking in advance through SacPark; garages open two hours before the event.
The arena states that club lounge availability varies by event, and describes access via floor tickets for concerts and special events. Do not assume a Kings floor seat opens RUSH or ASSEMBLY — check the specific game.
Parking is the City of Sacramento's, bought through SacPark rather than the arena.
Three named pedestrian walkways lead in; light rail stops within a block of all of them.

Not yet checked against a published source
These figures are estimates. Most venues no longer publish the numbers behind them — concession and ticket pricing moved to dynamic marketplaces — so we hold them as estimates rather than dating them as verified.
- Ticket prices — Secondary market averages (SeatGeek/StubHub)
- Parking prices — Never checked against a published rate: the venue's parking page, read 2026-09-05, publishes none — the garages open two hours before tipoff and passes are sold through the city's SacPark site, with no figure on the page. The 2026-07-27 figures were compiled from third-party listings (was: "Golden 1 Center 2026: no on-site parking; SacPark prepaid downtown garages $15-$30 by tier, some flat $15 prepaid, drive-up $5-$10 higher").
