What to Expect
Mortgage Matchup Center sits in the heart of downtown Phoenix, surrounded by restaurants, bars, and the city's growing urban core. The arena has been the Suns' home since 1992 and has undergone several renovations. The downtown Phoenix restaurant scene has exploded in recent years, Roosevelt Row (arts district) and Heritage Square are within walking distance. NBA games run about 2.5 hours. The desert climate is a factor: October games can still be uncomfortably hot outdoors, while winter and spring are ideal.

Tips & Fan Reports
Get to parking about 30 minutes before tip-off. Tip-off is usually 10 minutes after the advertised start time so you have a little buffer. Look out for Suns staff walking around with envelopes - they hand out courtside tickets to random fans.
Use the light rail from a park and ride lot instead of paying for parking or Uber to Footprint Center. Way cheaper and you avoid the downtown traffic completely.
Footprint Center is right in downtown Phoenix so there are tons of restaurants and bars within walking distance. Eat before you go in and save yourself $20 compared to arena food.
Only about 700 spaces sit on the property, so downtown parking is the realistic plan for most games.
The arena tells you which platform to board from — Jefferson St if you are coming from the east.
The building was Footprint Center before the current naming-rights deal, so older listings and directions use that name.
Parking prices move by event — the parking office on 602-379-2003 has the figure for your night.
The M Club by BMW has 54 seats in total — the smallest premium product in the arena.
The arena sits on the southeast corner of 1st and Jefferson.
Five driving routes are published, and all of them end on Jefferson or Washington Street.

How We Checked This Page
Every section below names the source it was read from and the day it was read. Where we could not reach a published figure, the page says so rather than presenting an estimate as a checked fact.
- Venue facts

- Venue policies
Current Mortgage Matchup Center policy, accessibility, ticketing, parking, and dining guidance reviewed for Phoenix Suns policies.
Not yet checked against a published source
These figures are estimates. Most venues no longer publish the numbers behind them — concession and ticket pricing moved to dynamic marketplaces — so we hold them as estimates rather than dating them as verified.
- Ticket prices — Secondary market averages (SeatGeek/StubHub)
- Parking prices — Never checked against a published rate: the venue's parking page, read 2026-09-05, publishes none — the site says rates vary by event and refers callers to the parking office or ParkWhiz. The 2026-07-27 figures were compiled from third-party listings (was: "Mortgage Matchup Center 2026: attached arena garage about $20-$30 on event nights, nearby private surface lots $8-$15").
