What to Expect
State Farm Arena sits in the heart of downtown Atlanta, adjacent to the CNN Center and Centennial Olympic Park. The arena underwent a massive $192 million renovation in 2017-18, creating one of the most modern fan experiences in the NBA with a rooftop lounge, a barbershop, and a Hawks-themed nightclub atmosphere. The pregame scene centers on the bars and restaurants along Marietta Street and Centennial Olympic Park Drive. Plan to arrive 60-90 minutes early to explore the renovated concourse and grab Southern-inspired food.

Nachos from the stand behind section 103 are my favorite food item in the arena. The Players Club and Chase Club are totally worth it if you are going to eat and drink - those are all-inclusive.
My favorite area to sit is by the home tunnel between sections 115 and 116. Section 203 is also a fun group of folks. Basically anywhere in the lower bowl is a great experience.
Walk across the Steele Bridge to Wild Leap Brewery in Centennial Yards before the game. Way better vibe than just hanging around the arena entrance waiting for doors to open.
The arena names no MARTA line — check the operator's map for which one you need.
A hard-sided bag is refused at any size, but a soft drawstring bag under 14 by 14 by 6 is fine — the shape matters more than the volume here.
Compare the clubs on what is included, not the decor: the Concert Club covers top-shelf alcohol, the Sharecare Social Club covers wine and beer only, and the Players Club states no inclusive food or drink at all.
Reserve through ParkMobile ahead for the lower price; ADA spaces cannot be reserved and go first come, first served.
The Concert Club adds a private entrance and year-round access to arena events, not just Hawks games.
The Players Club is the one that carries a behind-the-scenes players tunnel experience.
The Delta SKY360 Club is open to Courtside Seat Holders and nobody else, whatever another ticket cost.

- Bag policy
Bags must be no larger than 14 x 14 x 6 inches and are screened; single-compartment drawstring bags and qualifying purses or fashion backpacks are allowed, while standard backpacks and hard-sided bags are prohibited.
