- The operator numbers its facilities, and the numbers are what signage and passes use: YSP 1 is the 161st Street Garage at 20 East 161st Street, YSP 2 the Gerard Avenue Lot at 1011 Gerard Avenue, YSP 3 the River Avenue Garage at 950 River Avenue, and YSP 4 the Ruppert Plaza Garage at 1 Macombs Dam Park.
Bus & Limo Parking
Buses are handled at the Gerard Avenue Lot rather than in the garages.

Getting There
Yankee Stadium's own guidance opens by saying mass transit is the best way to get there, and the station is named for the ballpark: 161st Street/Yankee Stadium, served by the 4 and the D, with the B added on weekdays only. Driving comes down to two exits off the Major Deegan.
- Driving
- The stadium is at One East 161st Street in the Bronx, reached from the Major Deegan Expressway (Interstate 87). Northbound on I-87, use Exit 4 for East 149th Street and the 145th Street Bridge, or Exit 5 for East 161st Street and the Macombs Dam Bridge. Southbound, use Exit 5. The Yankees suggest entering One East 161st Street into a GPS rather than the stadium name.
- Public Transit
- The No. 4 train on the East Side and the D train on Sixth Avenue both stop at 161st Street/Yankee Stadium, on East 161st Street and River Avenue. B train service on Sixth Avenue also runs, but only on weekdays. Metro-North offers train service to the stadium from anywhere in its territory.
- Rideshare
- The Yankee Stadium taxi stand is the car service dispatch outside Gate 2.

- Parking prices
City Parking, the operator of the Yankee Stadium garages, publishes $49 Self Park at all four numbered facilities (161st Street, Gerard Avenue, River Avenue, Ruppert Plaza). Supersedes a third-party guide's '$25 prepaid / $35 drive-up', which was used in the morning only because mlb.com was refusing fetches; $35 appears nowhere on the operator's site. A per-event reservation discount may exist but is not a published rate and could not be read. The Bronx-lot entry is a different off-site product and was not re-checked.

MTA subway and local bus: "The fare is $3 for most riders", weekly cap $35. Commuter rail inside the city is the CityTicket, and MTA states it plainly: "For travel on one railroad within New York City without changing directions, a one-way CityTicket costs $5.25 for off-peak trains and $7.25 for peak trains." Games are evenings and weekends, so off-peak $5.25 is the game-day fare. Yankee Stadium is in the Bronx and the Yankee Clipper runs Metro-North between the Bronx and Manhattan, which is exactly what CityTicket covers. The stored $8 is neither the off-peak nor the peak figure
