Arrive in the Bronx
Take the 4 train to 161st Street or drive to one of the parking garages. The bars along River Avenue are already filling with fans in pinstripes.
Pregame on River Avenue
Stan's Sports Bar and Billy's Sports Bar are the classic pregame spots. Grab a beer and soak in the energy on the street outside the ballpark.
Enter through the Great Hall
Walk through the massive limestone facade and the Great Hall, the largest open-air space in any U.S. sports venue. Check out the championship banners and bronze plaques.
Watch batting practice
Head to the outfield sections to watch BP. Bring a glove, fly balls regularly reach the stands during practice.
Find your seat
The Stadium fills in waves. Settle into your seat and watch the grounds crew prep the infield. The video board runs highlights and lineup announcements.
Play ball
Nine innings of baseball in the Bronx. The Roll Call in the bleachers starts from the first pitch, Bleacher Creatures chant each starter's name until they acknowledge the fans.
Stand up and stretch
The crowd sings 'Take Me Out to the Ball Game' followed by 'God Bless America.' Grab a final round of food and drinks before the late innings.
Exit into the Bronx night
Head back to River Avenue for a postgame beer or walk straight to the 161st Street subway. The crowd thins quickly, the Bronx empties fast after the final out.
