3 hours before first pitch

Arrive in the neighborhood

Walk the Embarcadero waterfront from downtown or take the ferry from Oakland. The ballpark neighborhood fills with orange-and-black fans.

2 hours before first pitch

Walk McCovey Cove

Stroll along the waterfront behind right field and see McCovey Cove, kayakers position for splash-hit home runs.

Gates open (90 minutes before first pitch)

Enter Oracle Park

Walk the 360-degree concourse and take in the Bay views. The ballpark reveals itself gradually, each section has a different perspective.

60 minutes before first pitch

Grab garlic fries and a beer

The garlic fries at Oracle Park are legendary, the smell fills the ballpark. Pair with an Anchor Steam or 21st Amendment.

30 minutes before first pitch

Find your seat

Settle in and watch the Bay Bridge light up at sunset. The golden-hour light at Oracle Park is breathtaking.

First pitch

Play ball

Nine innings on the Bay. The wind blowing in from the water suppresses home runs, Oracle Park plays as a pitcher's park.

7th inning stretch

Stand up and stretch

The crowd sings along as the Bay twinkles in the background. Layer up, the temperature drops fast after sunset.

Walk the waterfront

The Embarcadero walk back toward downtown is beautiful at night with the Bay Bridge lights.

Bring warm clothes and extra layers. It will get chilly especially for a night game. Public transit is very easy and stops right in front of the stadium. Gates open 90-120 minutes before the game.
