There's no traditional parking-lot tailgating at SAP Center, the arena is in an urban setting without dedicated tailgating lots. Sharks fans gather at San Pedro Square Market and surrounding bars and restaurants for the pregame scene. Tailgating Protocol
No grills, coolers, or tailgating setups are permitted in parking garages or structures near SAP Center.
Outside alcohol is not allowed in public plazas or the arena grounds.
The arena's clear bag policy applies at all entry gates.
No re-entry. Once you leave SAP Center, you cannot return.
Follow all posted rules in parking garages; they are for vehicle parking only.

San Pedro Square Market
San Jose's premier food hall and gathering space, a 10-minute walk from SAP Center with local restaurants, bars, and live music.
SAP Center Lot A (Autumn Street)
The main surface lot with the most space for casual tailgating. Arrive early for the best spots near the arena entrance.
SoFA District (South First Area)
San Jose's arts and entertainment district south of downtown with craft breweries, galleries, and dive bars.
