Travel
Overview
NRG Stadium sits in NRG Park, a large complex about 5 miles south of downtown Houston. While Houston is a car-centric city, the METRORail Red Line provides a direct rail connection to the stadium on game days. It's by far the best option for avoiding Houston's notorious traffic. I-610 (the Inner Loop) provides freeway access from all directions. Kirby Drive and Fannin Street are the main surface streets for stadium approach. Rideshare zones are designated along Kirby Drive for convenient pickup and dropoff.
