Reliant Park requires pre-purchased mobile passes in all its parking lots, with limited cashless credit/debit parking available onsite. Tailgating is permitted throughout the park at Texans games, within the vehicle's space and the adjoining area up to the blue drive-lane lines.

Stay downtown near Discovery Green and take the Metro Rail to and from the game. Super easy, no parking hassle, and the area around NRG isn't walkable anyway.
NRG Stadium is going cashless so bring a card. Park off Fannin at the light rail lot and ride in - way easier than fighting for stadium lots.
Park near the center column of whatever parking lot you're in. It's hell getting out of any NRG lot if you park far from the exit.
All vehicles must leave after the postgame hour.
The complex sits between Kirby Street and Fannin Street inside the southern arc of Loop 610.
Gate and facility locations are published as map links rather than written directions. Open the one for your gate.
Nothing about METRO appears on the park's pages, so plan a rail or bus trip from the operator.

Your Pass
- The lots are colour-coded: Maroon, Red, Orange, Yellow, Blue, Teal, Green, Purple and Tan.
- Maroon is at 8600 Fannin St, Yellow at 9003 S Main St and Blue at 8825 Kirby Dr.
- A parking pass is good for that event only, and re-entry into the complex is charged a second parking fee.
- No overnight parking is permitted.
- There are no refunds on parking.
Getting There
Reliant Park describes its own position rather than routing you to it: inside the southern arc of Interstate Loop 610, between Kirby Street and Fannin Street. Gate locations come with map links and nothing else, and METRO is not mentioned anywhere despite a rail line running past the complex.
- Driving
- Reliant Park sits within the Inner Loop of the southern portion of Interstate Loop 610, between Kirby Street and Fannin Street, at 8825 Kirby Drive. Individual facilities and gates have their own map links rather than written routes.
- Public Transit
- The park names no transit route and publishes no stop: public transport is not covered on its pages at all. Plan that leg from METRO's own map.
- Rideshare
- Rideshare and taxi drop-off and pickup are in Yellow Lot 35, which drivers enter through Gate 16B off Main Street, at the large white tent. After the game, follow the walking paths into the Yellow Lot and look for the rideshare tent.
