Getting to Ford Field

Ford Field publishes three routes in, all of them off I-75, each ending on a different side of the stadium — and nothing else. For a stadium at 2000 Brush St in downtown Detroit, with a streetcar running along Woodward a block away, a directions page that covers only driving is a conspicuous gap rather than a reflection of the city.

Ford Field typically has a power hour before the game so enter early for deals on drinks and food. Restaurants nearby will be packed so think about reservations - Union Assembly, Le Supreme, and Eatori are all solid.
Nothing on Ford Field's own page covers the QLINE, the People Mover or buses, so plan a car-free trip elsewhere.
All three published routes are off I-75 — the difference is which side of the stadium you arrive on.
The Gratiot Avenue exit (51B) needs a sharp right immediately after; the stadium is then on your right.
Brush Street is the address side of the building, reached from the Mack Avenue exit via Winder Street.

- Three routes, all from I-75. Northbound, exit at Rosa Parks (exit 49), turn left onto Michigan Avenue, take Michigan to Woodward Avenue, north on Woodward to Montcalm Street. Southbound, exit at Mack Avenue (exit 52), follow the service drive, right on Winder Street then left onto Brush Street. Or southbound exit at Gratiot Avenue (51B), take the sharp right onto Gratiot and continue — Ford Field is on the right. The stadium is at 2000 Brush St.
- Public Transit
- The stadium's directions page names no transit line and publishes no stop; it covers driving only. Detroit's streetcar, People Mover and bus networks are not mentioned, so plan that leg from the operator's own map.
- Rideshare
- Uber and Lyft are widely available in metro Detroit. Designated pickup/dropoff zones are near the stadium on Brush Street. From DTW airport, expect $25-35 and 25-35 minutes. From metro suburbs (Royal Oak, Dearborn), expect $15-25. Post-game surge pricing is moderate. Walk to Greektown to wait it out.
