Ford Field's food program showcases Detroit's proud culinary identity. Detroit-style deep dish pizza, the rectangular, thick-crust, cheese-to-the-edge style, is the signature offering. Coney dogs from American Coney Island and Lafayette Coney Island represent one of Detroit's fiercest food rivalries. Better Made potato chips, a Detroit institution since 1930, are available throughout the stadium. Michigan's thriving craft beer scene is well-represented with selections from Bell's, Founders, and other state breweries. Outside the stadium, Greektown and downtown Detroit offer everything from Greek cuisine to upscale farm-to-table dining.

Tips & Fan Reports

Get the cinnamon almonds at the game. Also check out the LCA Den for drinks and chips. The Polish Village Cafe nearby has awesome Hungarian potato pancakes and all their food is good.

The coney dog rivalry is real: American Coney Island vs. Lafayette Coney Island. Both are within walking distance of the stadium. Try both.

Detroit-style pizza is the must-try inside Ford Field, thick, rectangular, with crispy cheese edges. It's unlike any other stadium pizza.

Greektown restaurants are the best pregame dining option. Pegasus Taverna's flaming saganaki is a classic experience.

These figures are estimates. Most venues no longer publish the numbers behind them — concession and ticket pricing moved to dynamic marketplaces — so we hold them as estimates rather than dating them as verified.
