Tips & Fan Reports
What fans who park here actually do, and what it cost them.
Buy your parking pass online on Ticketmaster - Gold or Platinum only. Do NOT buy on StubHub, they will sell you a shuttle pass from some bar outside the stadium and you will have to fight for a refund.
Park further from the stadium if you want an easier time leaving. Same price to park in the garage but no tailgating is allowed in the garage and you miss the whole pregame vibe.
NJ Transit from Penn Station is the best alternative, train drops you at the stadium door.
Route 3 and Route 120 get severely congested 2 hours before kickoff. Arrive early or take transit.
Carpooling reduces costs. The lots charge per vehicle, not per person.
Accessible parking is available in lots closest to stadium entrances with proper placard.
Pre-purchase parking passes through the Giants app, Ticketmaster, or ParkWhiz to guarantee a spot.
Post-game: stay and enjoy the tailgate scene for 30-60 minutes to let the worst traffic clear.

How We Checked This Page
Every section below names the source it was read from and the day it was read. Where we could not reach a published figure, the page says so rather than presenting an estimate as a checked fact.
- Parking guidance
Official MetLife Stadium NFL parking page plus the parking-and-tailgating hub, read 2026-08-14: the Sports Complex permit requirement, the Gold and Platinum lot allocations, the display rules for each of the three permit formats, the day-of off-site lot with its shuttle to Lot G, charter-bus placement in Lot L, the free taxi and limousine drop-off between Lots D and E, the Secaucus Junction park-and-ride, and the 2026 parking map. No lot hours, no ADA rules, no RV policy and no road closures are published.
- Venue policies
New York Giants and MetLife Stadium ticketing, parking, accessibility, A-Z, and guest-policy pages reviewed for visitor-facing policies.
Not yet checked against a published source
These figures are estimates. Most venues no longer publish the numbers behind them — concession and ticket pricing moved to dynamic marketplaces — so we hold them as estimates rather than dating them as verified.
- Parking prices — Never checked against a published rate: the venue's parking page, read 2026-09-05, publishes none — the only figure is the $65 off-site lot for guests without a prepaid permit; on-site Gold and Platinum permit prices are not published. The 2026-07-27 figures were compiled from third-party listings (was: "MetLife Stadium 2026 NFL lots $25-$60, open five hours before kickoff (World Cup matches use separate arrangements and are excluded)").
