Travel
Overview
Arrowhead Stadium sits within the Truman Sports Complex at the junction of I-70 and I-435 in eastern Kansas City. Unlike most modern NFL stadiums, Arrowhead is not served by public transit — it's a drive-in, drive-out experience. The complex is about 10-12 miles east of downtown Kansas City, and most fans drive and park in the massive surrounding lots. Kansas City International Airport (MCI) is 30-35 miles northwest. The car-dependent access is a drawback, but the massive lot infrastructure (25,000+ spaces) makes it manageable.
