Getting to Empower Field at Mile High

Empower Field has its own light rail station, which is rare in the NFL and makes the train the obvious approach. The E and W lines stop at Empower Field at Mile High Station, eight minutes' walk from the gates, and Decatur-Federal Station on the W line is the same distance. Everything else feeds into those two: the D and H lines transfer to the E at 10th & Osage, and the A Line from the airport transfers at Union Station. A trolley shuttle runs from Confluence Park on Broncos game days.

There is a wooden trolley by REI run by a bunch of happy old guys that toots right up to the front entrance of Empower Field. About $8-$10 and super fun. Otherwise just follow the crowds walking from downtown.
The stadium has its own light rail station on the E and W lines, so the train is the simplest approach rather than a fallback.
The Denver Trolley's Football Shuttle drops you about 100 yards east of the stadium, under I-25, for $10 return.
The taxi stand is on Bryant Street along the pedestrian walkway outside Gate 5, on the northeast corner of the building.
Decatur-Federal Station on the W line is an equally short walk if the stadium stop is crowded.

- Empower Field is at 1701 Bryant Street. The stadium publishes no turn-by-turn route in: it gives an entrance map for lot entry on event days and an exit map routing traffic out to I-25 north and south, plus lot-specific directions and an offsite parking map. Set a map app to the street address, and read the exit map before the game rather than after it.
- Public Transit
- The RTD E and W Lines stop at Empower Field at Mile High Station, an 8 minute walk from the stadium. Decatur-Federal Station, also on the W Line, is the same 8 minutes away. From the D or H Lines, transfer to the E at 10th & Osage Station. Coming from the airport, take the University of Colorado A Line and transfer to the E or W at Union Station. On Broncos game days the Denver Trolley also runs a Football Shuttle from the Confluence Park trolley stop behind REI at 1416 Platte Street to the Broncos Bridge stop under I-25, about 100 yards east of the stadium — $10 return, $7 one way.
- Rideshare
- Uber and Lyft serve the stadium with designated zones. From downtown Denver (2 miles), expect $8-15. From Denver International Airport, $35-50. Post-game surge is moderate.
- Walking
- About 8 minutes on foot from either Empower Field at Mile High Station or Decatur-Federal Station.

RTD’s base fare is the 3-Hour Pass at $2.75 (Day Pass $5.50, Airport Day Pass $10), and riders under 19 travel free under Zero Fare for Youth -- so the stored $2.75 is right. BroncosRide is removed: RTD suspended it before the 2020-21 season and then discontinued it permanently, because "The Federal Transit Administration (FTA) prohibits transit agencies that receive federal dollars, including RTD, from competing with private charter service providers" -- the service "closely resembled a private charter service". Regular C, E and W line trains serve Empower Field at Mile High Station at the ordinary fare, which the remaining entry describes. Walking entries carry no transit fare by definition (the BroncosRide entry was removed by the first run of this patch)
