Muni Lot Opens
The Municipal Lot opens and the legendary tailgate begins. Arrive early for the best spots, Muni Lot fills fast and the party starts immediately.
Tailgate Scene Peaks
Muni Lot is in full swing, grills smoking, music blasting, Dawg Pound faithful in full costume. The lakefront is alive with orange and brown.
Gates Open
Stadium gates open. Head inside early to explore the concourse, check out the lakefront views, and grab food without long lines.
Player Warmups
Players take the field for warmups. Great photo opportunity from the lower bowl. Look for Brownie the Elf mascot making the rounds.
Find Your Seats
Grab your gameday food and settle in. The Dawg Pound is already barking and the energy is building for kickoff.
Game Time
The Dawg Pound erupts. 67,000+ fans join in, barking, bone-throwing, and cheering for the Orange and Brown. Lakefront winds add to the intensity.
Exit Strategy
Walk back to downtown in 10-15 minutes or continue tailgating in Muni Lot. RTA Rapid Transit clears crowds faster than driving out.
Tips & Fan Reports
Dress for wind, the lakefront is brutally exposed, especially in the Dawg Pound end zone. Add 10-15°F wind chill to the forecast.
Bring hand warmers and a windproof outer layer for any game after October. Lake Erie wind is no joke.
Muni Lot tailgate is a must. It opens at 7am for a 1pm game and it is basically a block party. One of the best tailgates in the league.
