Know Before You Go
- Bag policy
All bags, including purses, totes, fanny packs, diaper bags, and medical bags, must fit within 14 x 6 x 14 inches and do not need to be clear.
Backpacks are prohibited except single-compartment drawstring bags and single-compartment fashion backpack-style purses. Every bag is screened before entry.
- Bag storage
Chase Center bag check is outside the East Entrance at the Bike Valet on the corner of 16th Street and Terry A. Francois Boulevard.
Bags of any size, including suitcases, may be checked for a $10 Warriors Community Foundation donation, subject to change. Bag check opens 60 minutes before doors and closes 60 minutes after the event; use is at the guest's own risk.
- Gate opening
Chase Center doors are scheduled to open 90 minutes before each Warriors game.
Check the specific event page or contact guestexperiences@warriors.com for any timing change.
- Mobile tickets
Chase Center uses contactless mobile ticket entry, and Warriors fans can store, scan, and manage tickets in the Golden State mobile app.
- Re-entry
Chase Center does not permit re-entry after a guest exits unless the guest has a separate unused and unscanned ticket.
- Prohibited items
Prohibited items include weapons, pepper spray and mace, fireworks, backpacks and oversize or hard-sided bags, outside food and drinks, bottles and cans, coolers, professional cameras, recording gear, drones, large signs, poles and selfie sticks, lasers, noisemakers, skateboards, scooters, bicycles, helmets, and chairs.
Tablets and laptops are allowed at Warriors games even though other events may prohibit them. Security may reject other items deemed unacceptable by arena management.
- First aid
First Aid offices are on the Main Concourse near Portal 1, the Upper Concourse near Portal 60, and in the event-level northwest corner with an escort.
EMTs attend every Chase Center event. Contact Guest Services or Security during a medical emergency.
- Nursing and lactation
Nursing parents may use the Mamava pod near Portal 53 on the Upper Concourse.
Baby bags, plastic bottles, and formula are permitted, although an event may apply a modified bag policy.
- Family restrooms
Gender-neutral and family restrooms are available on the Main Concourse near Portals 8, 12, and 19 and on the Upper Concourse near Portals 43, 46, 55, and 58.
Additional family restrooms are on the Event and Club levels. Diaper-changing stations are available in designated restrooms throughout Chase Center.
- Tickets for children
Children younger than 24 months may enter without a ticket when accompanied by a ticketed adult and sharing that adult's seat.
A compliant diaper bag is permitted after search and tagging. Guest Services at Portals 13 and 53 provides complimentary Kid ID wristbands.
- Guest services
Guest Services kiosks are near Portals 13 and 53.

- Service animals
Trained service animals are welcome and must remain leashed, tethered, or harnessed unless that would interfere with their work or the handler's disability.
The animal should fit on the guest's lap or beneath the seat. Guests with a larger service animal should purchase wheelchair-accessible seating because same-day exchanges are very limited.
- Smoking and vaping
Smoking, vaping, and e-cigarettes are prohibited inside Chase Center and everywhere on arena property.
Smoking inside the arena results in ejection.

Arrive at Mission Bay
Park or arrive via Muni T-Third. Explore the Thrive City plaza and waterfront promenade.
Pregame dining
Eat at one of the Thrive City restaurants, Dumpling Time, Gott's Roadside, or Old Bus Tavern.
Doors open
Enter the arena to watch warm-ups. Check out the Warriors team store on the main concourse.
Find your seat
The arena fills quickly for big matchups. Settle in and enjoy the video intro and light show.
Game time
Warriors games are a high-energy experience. Expect deafening crowd noise, especially during runs. Total game time is about 2-2.5 hours.
Halftime break
Explore the concourse food options. Upper-level vendors tend to have shorter lines.
Post-game scene
Thrive City bars stay open after the game. The waterfront walk to the ferry terminal or Muni stop is scenic at night.
Tips & Fan Reports
Chase Center is one of the newest arenas in the NBA (opened 2019) with excellent sightlines from every seat.
The ferry from the East Bay docks at Chase Center on game nights - a scenic alternative to driving or BART.
Thrive City plaza outside Chase Center has food trucks, bars, and free watch parties during away games.
Take the Muni T-Third. It drops you right at the arena and avoids Mission Bay traffic.
Halftime lines are long. Buy food during the first or third quarter.
The Thrive City plaza has outdoor heaters for chilly SF nights.
Both garages need a prepaid pass and open at 5 p.m. on weeknights, so there is no turning up to pay.
Your ticket is a free Muni pass for the whole day, which makes driving the expensive option here.
Ferries run to Pier 48½ for every Warriors game if you are coming across the bay.
No backpacks at all, whatever the size, but $10 at the Bike Valet takes any bag off your hands.
Before the Game
Chase Center publishes no tailgating policy and parks its guests in two garages, so a Warriors pregame is Mission Bay rather than a lot. The transport is the standout: showing an event ticket at a Muni turnstile rides free all day, and ferries run for every Warriors game, dropping at the Mission Bay Interim Ferry Landing at Pier 48½. Doors open 90 to 120 minutes before tip-off. The bag rule is strict and has a paid escape hatch: backpacks of any size are refused along with anything over 14 by 6 by 14 inches, but any bag can be checked for $10 at the Bike Valet on the corner of 16th Street and Terry Francois Boulevard.

- Only the outside food and drink the rule allows
Outside food and drinks, including bottled water and reusable bottles, are prohibited; baby food, plastic baby bottles, and formula are permitted.
- A card or a phone wallet
Three cash-to-card kiosks at Main Concourse Portals 10 and 22 and Upper Concourse Portal 55 convert cash to a prepaid open-loop debit card.
