If you go about an hour early you can sometimes find free street parking near Toyota Center. Use the side entrance across from the Rockets parking garage instead of the main one - way faster entry.
EaDo lots are cheap ($10) and walkable, combine with pregame at 8th Wonder Brewery.
Post-game traffic on I-45 and I-69 is heavy. Wait 20 minutes or grab a drink at EaDo.
If flying in, Hobby Airport is only 15 minutes by rideshare, much closer than IAH.
The Tundra Garage fills early for big games. Pre-purchase or arrive 90 minutes early.
METRORail at $1.25 is the cheapest arena transit in the NBA. Use it.

Your Pass
- Garage parking is not available to non-passholders on Houston Rockets game days.
- The 2,500-space, seven-story Toyota Tundra Garage is on the south side of the arena and is cashless.
- Premium guests have a private sky bridge entrance.
- For concerts and other events, the venue strongly recommends reserving garage parking through the ticket flow or event email.
- Nearby surface lots can be reserved through ParkWhiz.
- Lyft pickup is west toward Austin Street, across Root Memorial Square Park.
Accessible Parking
Accessible spaces are offered inside the adjacent Tundra Garage on an event-specific basis, with a separate curbside loading point.
- Accessible parking is on Levels 1 and 3 of the Toyota Tundra Garage.
- Garage availability varies by event; accessible spaces may also be available in independently operated surrounding lots.
- Accessible drop-off and pickup is on La Branch Street south of Polk Street.
