Parking is cashless, accepting cards, mobile wallets and prepaid passes. Grilling, open flames, food preparation and drinking alcohol are prohibited in parking areas.

Take the DART train to Victory Station - it is literally one block from the arena. Free parking lot at Market Center Station which is one stop away. Way better than paying $40 to park at the arena.
Lot F has 105 first-come accessible spaces and requires no parking pass.
DART Green and Orange Lines serve Victory Station at the arena; the fare is $3.
Some Red and Blue Line trains run straight through to Victory just before events, saving the West End change.
Victory Station is named for the arena and sits at it: Green and Orange Lines reach it every day.
Bus Route 49 drops at Houston at Payne, directly across from the east entrance.
The TRE holds a westbound Fort Worth train until 20 minutes after evening games.
There is no TRE service on Sundays at all. Plan a Sunday trip around DART instead.

Parking Rules
What the pass covers, what gets turned away, and the lots that run on their own rules.
Your Pass
- The Lexus Garage opens at noon on event days. The other lots open two hours before the event and stay open two hours after it ends.
- Overnight parking and in-and-out privileges are not permitted.
- Comerica Garage, 2503 Victory Ave, takes credit and debit cards and pre-paid passes only.
- Commons Garage is at 2601 Victory Ave; D Garage at 2400 Victory Ave, 0.1 miles from the South entrance; Lot K at 2235 Victory Avenue, 0.3 miles from the north-west corner.
- Lexus Garage is at 2620 N. Houston St across from the East Entrance, with an 8ft 2in clearance and 50 designated Lexus spots per event.
- Lot A at 3098 Nowitzki Way is a players' reserved lot for Stars games and pass-only for Mavericks games. Lot E at 2617 Victory Ave is pass-only.
- Grilling, open flames, food preparation and drinking alcohol are not permitted in the parking areas.
- There are over 5,000 spaces in total, with more than 3,000 to the south and east.
Accessible Parking
Lot F is accessible parking only, and unusually it needs no parking pass at all: 105 spaces, first come, first served, directly across from the North entrance.

Bus & Limo Parking
Buses park off-site at the Inspiration Lot, about 0.8 miles from the arena's north-west corner, at a published per-event rate.
- Bus parking is the Inspiration Lot, 1530 Inspiration Dr, 0.8 miles from the north-west corner.
- It is $40 for Mavericks games and $50 for Stars games, or $50 for third-party events.
Getting There
American Airlines Center has a DART station named after it: Victory Station at American Airlines Center, served by two light rail lines seven days a week, with a third and fourth reaching it directly just before events. The detail worth planning around is the commuter train: the TRE does not run on Sundays, but after evening games it holds a westbound departure until 20 minutes after the final whistle.
- Driving
- The arena is at 2500 Victory Avenue. From I-35E southbound, exit at Oaklawn, left on Oaklawn, right on Harry Hines Boulevard, right on Payne Street then right on Akard Street; or continue to the Continental exit, left on Continental and left on Victory Avenue. From I-35E northbound and I-30 west, take the Continental exit, right on Continental then left on Victory Avenue, or take Woodall Rodgers Freeway to the Field Street exit, left on Field, left on Broom, right on Lamar and right on Victory. From the Dallas North Tollway, follow it as it becomes Harry Hines Boulevard, then right on Payne Street and right on Akard for Platinum parking, or stay on Harry Hines and follow signs to Field Street then right on Nowitzki Way. From Highway 75, go south to Woodall Rodgers and exit at Pearl or Field Street. From I-45, go north to Woodall Rodgers, exit Field Street, right on Lamar then right on Victory Avenue.
- Public Transit
- DART's Green and Orange Lines run directly to Victory Station at American Airlines Center, seven days a week. From the Red or Blue Lines, change at West End Station, though just before events some Red and Blue trains run through to Victory. Victory Station is also a regular stop on the Trinity Railway Express between Fort Worth's T&P Station and Dallas Union Station, running six days a week with no Sunday service; for games starting after 6pm a westbound train toward Fort Worth leaves Victory 20 minutes after the game. DART bus Route 49 runs seven days a week from Rosa Parks Plaza at Elm and Lamar to the Houston at Payne stop, across the street from the east arena entrance.

- The Houston at Payne bus stop is on Houston St; the east arena entrance is directly across the street from it.
