There is a TRAX light rail station right next to the Delta Center main entrance. Ride the train and skip the parking headache entirely. Plenty of hotels within walking distance too.
TRAX travel is free when both ends of the trip are inside the Free Fare Downtown Zone.
TRAX serves Arena Station directly across South Temple Street.
TRAX runs to and from all arena events, so a late finish is covered.
The TRAX stop is called Arena Station and it is across South Temple Street. You can see the building from the platform.
The arena publishes no driving route at all; its parking guidance points at Park Place, the Gateway Mall and City Creek Mall.

- Park Place at 50 North 300 West has 1,260 uncovered stalls, serves Door 5, and sells game-by-game passes through ParkWhiz.
- Japanese Church of Christ at 268 100 South has 80 uncovered stalls, variable availability and pricing, and serves Doors 5 and 8.
- The Gateway Mall at 75 South 400 West has 2,200 covered stalls and serves Door 8.
- The Triad Center at 50 South 300 West has 1,475 covered stalls and serves Door 2.
- City Creek Mall at 50 East South Temple has 5,000 covered stalls, offers the first two hours free, and serves Door 5.
- Hyatt House at 300 West 140 South has 350 covered stalls and serves Door 8.

Getting There
The Delta Center's transit answer is a single sentence and it is the only one it needs: TRAX runs to every arena event and the stop is called Arena Station, directly across South Temple Street. Driving is the leg the arena does not document at all. It lists nearby lots and leaves the route to a mapping app.
- Driving
- The arena is at 301 South Temple. It publishes no driving route: no interstate, exit or approach appears on its maps or parking pages, which cover nearby lots instead: Park Place, the Gateway Mall and City Creek Mall among them.
- Public Transit
- UTA TRAX runs to and from all arena events. Exit at Arena Station, on South Temple Street directly across from the Delta Center.
- Rideshare
- Drop-off is in the passenger drop-off zone on 300 West, which Delta Center designates for rideshare, though postgame traffic may leave it inaccessible for pickup. The Lyft pickup zone is at the southeast corner of the arena on 300 West.
- Walking
- Arena Station sits on South Temple Street directly across from the arena, so the walk from the platform is the width of one street.

UTA Current Fares: the regular one-way fare is $2.50, grouped as "Local Bus, TRAX, UVX & S-Line", with a FAREPAY daily cap of $5 (two paid trips). FrontRunner is listed separately and is distance-based: a $2.50 base for travel to one station plus $0.60 for each additional station, so it is not the same fare and is not covered here.
