What to Expect
FedExForum sits at the corner of Beale Street and Third Street in downtown Memphis. You literally walk from the arena onto the most famous blues street in the world. The proximity to Beale Street makes Grizzlies games one of the best pregame experiences in the NBA. Memphis is a small-market city with a fanatical fan base, the 'Grit and Grind' identity runs deep. The food (BBQ, hot chicken, soul food) is world-class and incredibly affordable. NBA games run about 2.5 hours.

Game Day
FedExForum is very welcoming to visiting fans. The Grizzlies community is respectful and fun. Just cheer for your team and enjoy the atmosphere - nobody is going to give you a hard time.
Both garage entrances are on Dr. M.L. King Jr. Avenue, so approach from there rather than Fourth Street.
No metal or chain strap on the clear bag, which catches out a lot of otherwise-compliant bags.
Parking & Directions
The arena sits at the foot of Beale Street, with bars and music rooms nearby.
Accessible garage and marshalling-area parking requires current state-issued credentials.
Three trolley lines pass within a few blocks but the arena names none. Look them up before you travel rather than on arrival.
Food & Drinks
You can get in 1 hour before tip unless you are a season ticket holder. Hit Gus's Fried Chicken before the game - it is a Memphis institution. Grab a Tiny Bomb beer inside the arena.
Memphis BBQ is the best in the world. Eat before the game at Central BBQ or Rendezvous.
Gus's Fried Chicken downtown is a must-visit. Arrive early, the line moves fast.
Seating
The Terrace Level is reached by designated escalators and has its own food, drink and merchandise, so a cheap seat does not mean a long walk.
The floor-seat lounge's complimentary food and drink run through the end of the THIRD QUARTER, not the whole game. Worth knowing before treating it as unlimited.
Club Boxes and Theater Boxes are both on the Pinnacle Level but in different clubs: Prime Global Group and Konica Minolta respectively.
General
The visiting team stays at the Westin across the street - there is an underground tunnel connecting the hotel to the arena. If you want to see visiting players that is where they come from.
Know Before You Go
- Bag policy
Each guest may bring one clear plastic, vinyl, or PVC bag no larger than 6 x 8 x 2 inches, a one-quart clear storage bag, or a wallet no larger than 5 x 3.5 inches.
Clear bags cannot have an all-over print that blocks the contents, and metal or chain straps are prohibited. Compliant bags and wallets receive X-ray screening. Medical bags and diaper bags with the child present are exceptions after inspection. Guests with medically necessary bags must use the marked Grand Lobby doors.
- Gate opening
Doors normally open 90 minutes before tipoff for Memphis Grizzlies games.
Door times can vary by event; call 901-205-1234 to confirm an event-specific time.
- Venue payments
FedExForum concessions are cashless and accept contactless card transactions plus Apple Pay and Google Pay.
The current arena-policy page does not publish a cash-to-card conversion service.
- Re-entry
FedExForum does not permit re-entry after a guest exits.
