Arrive at the United Center
Drive in and park in the arena lots, or take the CTA. Stop for a photo with the Michael Jordan statue on the east side.
Pregame scene
Hit the bars on Madison Street or explore the nearby West Loop restaurants. Some fans tailgate in the parking lots.
Doors open
Enter the United Center and watch warm-ups. Check out the six championship banners and the Bulls team store.
Find your seat
Settle in and enjoy the iconic Bulls intro, 'Sirius' by the Alan Parsons Project is still legendary.
Game time
The United Center holds 20,917 for basketball, one of the largest NBA arenas. Games run about 2-2.5 hours.
Halftime break
Hit the concourse for Chicago-style hot dogs, deep dish, and Italian beef. Upper level has shorter lines.
Post-game scene
Head to the West Loop for postgame dinner and drinks, or take the CTA back to the Loop.
Tips & Fan Reports
Get there 30 minutes to an hour early so you can walk around and check out the Jordan statue outside. There is a lot of cool memorabilia inside the United Center too. Don't skip the pregame experience.
The Bulls intro with 'Sirius' and the darkened arena is iconic. Be in your seat for it.
West Loop restaurants (10-15 min walk) are dramatically better than arena food. Eat before and save money.
The Michael Jordan statue on the east side is the most photographed spot - get there early to avoid the crowd.

United Center is in a primarily residential area - Uber/Lyft pickup and dropoff is smoother than fighting the lots.
The Italian beef sandwich inside the arena is a must. It's a Chicago experience.

United Center is indoor, so these are the conditions for the parking lot and the walk in, not the seats.
Across the NBA season the warmest month is October, with an average high of 63°F, and the coldest is January, when the average low is 19°F. April is the wettest month at 3.6 inches and January the driest at 1.5 inches.
