There's no traditional parking-lot tailgating at Busch Stadium, the ballpark is in an urban setting without dedicated tailgating lots. Cardinals Stl fans gather at Ballpark Village and surrounding bars and restaurants for the pregame scene. Tailgating Protocol
No grills, coolers, or tailgating setups are permitted in parking garages or structures near Busch Stadium.
Outside alcohol is not allowed in public plazas or the ballpark grounds.
The ballpark's clear bag policy applies at all entry gates.
No re-entry. Once you leave Busch Stadium, you cannot return.
Follow all posted rules in parking garages; they are for vehicle parking only.
Strategic Zones
Ballpark Village
The Cardinals' entertainment complex directly adjacent to the stadium. Multi-level bars, restaurants, the Cardinals Nation sports museum, and a rooftop viewing deck.
Washington Avenue (Downtown)
Downtown St. Louis's restaurant and bar row, about a 10-minute walk north of the stadium. A more relaxed pregame alternative to the Ballpark Village crowd.
Kiener Plaza / Gateway Arch Grounds
The park spaces between the stadium and the Arch. A nice pregame walk, especially for first-time visitors who want to see the Arch up close.
